Overall, I had a pleasant stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the superior room had a lovely sea view. The staff were helpful, and the location was excellent, around a 10-minute walk to the Old Town, and about 20 minutes to the shopping mall and gym. The main downsides were minor but frustrating. The hairdryer in the room was not very effective, and I paid a €20 towel deposit which I was unable to get back before leaving. When I returned the towel, the person at reception had very limited English and did not understand that I wanted my deposit back, so we had to use a translator. I was then told I had to wait until 8am, but my taxi was due at 7:40am. This was a disappointing end to an otherwise good stay.

Staff were helpful and accommodating. Quite environment. Room was spacious and clean but dated. Walking distance to beach and restaurants. Only one washing machine for all guests and, most of the time, only one of the two elevators was working.

Parking and breakfast was great. The room was also very good. Nice and large and was very clean. The staff at reception were also very friendly. Would definitely recommend. Far enough away from the parties that take place down the escalator. Perfect location.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights in May. ​Upon arrival after 4 PM, our room wasn't ready, and we were asked to wait another 15 minutes. Although I was tired, I was happy to enjoy the sun and warmth, especially compared to the weather in Sintra. This was our penultimate stop in Portugal before finishing our vacation and returning to Canada. ​The biggest disappointment was the hotel's layout. When we booked the package, we thought it was a single building. As it turns out, there are two: one stands right on the beach, and the second is about 500 meters inland. If this had been clearly stated, we would have been prepared, but it was quite a letdown. ​The rest of the issues became apparent during our stay: ​The Safe: The safe in the room is very old; I didn't think hotels still used safes that require a physical key. ​Elevators: Only one elevator seemed to work at a time (out of two). They kept switching the "Out of Order" signs from one to the other, even though they had just been working. Since the hotel was busy and the elevators are small (hard to fit more than 4 people), we mostly used the stairs. ​Amenities: I haven't seen a hairdryer like that in a long time—it felt very outdated. Also, there are almost no shelves in the bathroom to conveniently place personal toiletries. ​EV Charging: The parking was large and convenient with two lots available. However, the EV charger did not work. I tried two different mobile apps, but neither could locate it.

Good position, really helpful and nice staff. Hotel was spotless. Definitely a 3 star.

Room was spotless, staff almost invisible! Hotel like a labyrinth till you get use to it. Breakfast outstanding, covers all tastes. Had own nice pool area and short walk from beach, bars and restaurants

No the view was amazing

Nice hotel. Great breakfast. Location near beach, but removed from loud partying. Walkable to old town and markets and near local bus stop that gets you to long distance bus stop. Staff is polite, but not super warm. Place is older hotel, but kept up and in good condition. Rooms are spacious with terraces. Comfortable stay.

We booked the INATEL hotel as advertised on this site a beach front location… but BEWARE this is NOT where you will stay they put you over the road in the sister hotel that is nowhere near as nice and away from the beach front , it has happened to us on 2 occasions now and both times the hotel hasn’t cared just told us to cough up more money or jog on to the hotel across the road … it’s a proper con BEWARE !!!!

Booked Inatel beach front hotel … when we arrived we got sent to the sister hotel which is not a beach front hotel . Twice this has happened now 😡 the sister hotel is clean , breakfast is good But when you arrive thinking you have booked the beachfront hotel as stated on our booking , it dampened the holiday a bit! Definitely won’t be booking Inatel again !

Room well proportioned with balcony. It was cleaned every day with fresh towels. The view over the beach was excellent. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was basic.

Did not go easyJet cancelled the flight

On our booking the hotel stayed, on the beach hotel, double room. Showed all pictures and views from the hotel and the lounges on the beach from the front of the hotel. When we arrived it was a different hotel and the photographs was from the hotel across the road.

Breakfast was delicious and hotel well situated to visit surrounding areas. Loved our stay!

Room was okay. Breakfast was okay. Check in was slow, rooms not available until after 4.30. Pool is closed on a Monday morning for cleaning.

The pictures and description on Expedia do not reflect the hotel we stayed in.There is actually two INATEL .One the beach and the other behind the beach front INATEL. Across the road. Ad is very misleading.
