No the view was amazing

Nice hotel. Great breakfast. Location near beach, but removed from loud partying. Walkable to old town and markets and near local bus stop that gets you to long distance bus stop. Staff is polite, but not super warm. Place is older hotel, but kept up and in good condition. Rooms are spacious with terraces. Comfortable stay.

We booked the INATEL hotel as advertised on this site a beach front location… but BEWARE this is NOT where you will stay they put you over the road in the sister hotel that is nowhere near as nice and away from the beach front , it has happened to us on 2 occasions now and both times the hotel hasn’t cared just told us to cough up more money or jog on to the hotel across the road … it’s a proper con BEWARE !!!!

Booked Inatel beach front hotel … when we arrived we got sent to the sister hotel which is not a beach front hotel . Twice this has happened now 😡 the sister hotel is clean , breakfast is good But when you arrive thinking you have booked the beachfront hotel as stated on our booking , it dampened the holiday a bit! Definitely won’t be booking Inatel again !

Room well proportioned with balcony. It was cleaned every day with fresh towels. The view over the beach was excellent. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was basic.

On our booking the hotel stayed, on the beach hotel, double room. Showed all pictures and views from the hotel and the lounges on the beach from the front of the hotel. When we arrived it was a different hotel and the photographs was from the hotel across the road.

Breakfast was delicious and hotel well situated to visit surrounding areas. Loved our stay!

Room was okay. Breakfast was okay. Check in was slow, rooms not available until after 4.30. Pool is closed on a Monday morning for cleaning.

The pictures and description on Expedia do not reflect the hotel we stayed in.There is actually two INATEL .One the beach and the other behind the beach front INATEL. Across the road. Ad is very misleading.

I was booked in for the hotel which was close to the beach. But apparently they had two hotels which i booked was a bit far away from the beach so i had to pay extra for the one close to beach which was a superior room. The bed was two single beds attached for a superior room. But the staff told me that he will get it sorted the next day. But they didn’t. So basically as couple we had sleep in different cots. Also the air conditioning was the worse. It was very warm in the room even after bringing the air conditioning to low and the sound from the fan was horrible. I couldn’t get a proper sleep. The breakfast, the view and the soundproofed rooms were fantastic.

Nice clean room with beach front view. Buffet breakfast was included. Selections were ok. Location was great within walking distance to old town.

Lovely superior room overlooking the beach in the Praia hotel (note that there are 2 different buildings, so the cheaper rooms are not on in the beachside building). Fell asleep listening to the waves each night. Be aware that the bathroom ‘wall’ is a half-frosted glass pane (though the toilet is separated). Not an issue if you’re close to the person you’re sharing the room with! Breakfast was good but not great. Worth including at the discounted rate but definitely not worth the €22 on the day! Overall, the rooms are great value for money, and we would stay here again, but only in the superior rooms in the ‘Praia’ hotel.

Very friendly staffs, especially at the bar. I went right before 10pm when the kitchen was closed that night. The bartender offered a sandwich and it was great! Everything was great at the property but the noise level was unavoidable. There's no sound proof and you can hear from the hall way, next door and from upper room.

The hotel was very good value overall. It was clean throughout and although basic everything worked fine. Breakfast was above average and the lounge bar was cheaper than bars nearby. My main gripe is the description; with the photographs being misleading. There are two buildings in the complex each with their own reception (although the staff alternate between the two sites). We went to the building on the beach as this is shown on the booking site, however they told us we were in the other building a few minutes walk away. No dramas but it isn't what we thought we had booked.

Clean room. Good service. Staff speaks English well.

Clean. Next to the beach. Some noise in the morning due to construction work outside but quiet at night. Breakfast was cold because they don't cover the food.
