The quality and comfort of the property more than met expectations, and is conveniently located. I cannot fault it in any way. My only issues were with Hotels.com; firstly in the fact that there was no information provided about the check in process. I needed to work out for myself that it could only be at the Mayfield Hotel next door. This lack of information seemingly also affected the hotel. On arrival I was asked to pay the outstanding balance by card, which I did. When I checked my bank account later in the day I found I was simultaneously being debited for the same amount by Hotels.com. Thankfully the manager of the hotel was very helpful and reimbursed me for the amount taken.

We stayed in a very nice cottage next to the Mayfield. It was very clean and modern looking in the bathrooms. There are very large beds in both rooms , each having a bathroom, very convenient. The distance from Scarborough is about 10 minutes drive right to the seafront. The reception staff are efficient and curteous. Lots of parking out front too.

Exceptionally well decorated and beautiful home to explore the local area. Very welcoming on reception and everything you could need. Only minor gripe was the upstairs shower that was either boiling hot or freezing cold with no in between but sort that and this place is perfect.

This was our 2 nd stay in the same cottage . We were a little dissatisfied regarding afew items- The cooker wasn’t working correctly took nearly 2 hours to cook chips! And waiste time as our pasta not cooked either. Decided to eat out The duvet on the double bed very worn and lumpy and the main door on inside was very dirty , glass coffee table also not cleaned from last tenements.

Fantastic cottage, beautiful and clean and plenty of amenities that you may need. I would highly recommend this place to stay and I would definitely stay here again.

Rally great accomodation! Only thing Hotels.com can do is mention that you pick up the keys from the Mayfield Pub. Wasn’t that clear.

Really lovely place. Would’ve been handy to know we had to check in at the hotel next door 😁 we knocked and walked in on the neighboring property to try and find out where we were supposed to be.

Everything we needed in the cottage very clean and we were pleasantly surprised when arrived with the size and how beautiful it was. Definitely recommended

The cottage was immaculate, the photographs do not do it justice. I arrived at 3pm and called the number on the website. The recorded message said to check-in at the pub next door. The staff there were super friendly and helpful.I will definitely stay here again when I come over to Scarborough.

Palladium House was stunning in every way. A truly beautiful home with everything you could need. The pub next door (The Mayfair) serves lovely food and staff were welcoming and polite.

We had a one night stop-over on the way to another destination. However, based on the accommodation, we would certainly consider returning for a longer stay and explore the area further.

Fantastic accommodation, really high end fixtures and fittings. We did hear people coming out of the pub next door between 11:30pm and 12:00am, but didn’t affect our stay. Would defo come again

It’s a good location to the beach and some of the restaurants.

Perfect location next to the pub which does fantastic food. Very high end cottage in both style & comfort, very clean too & having a courtyard for the dogs was great as we could sit outside with them. Would definitely stay again.
