I struggled with this one. The staff were great, the bed, albeit a little soft, was quite comfortable. Linens were nice. The breakfast was quite good, The reason for 2 stars is only due to almost NO HOT water. We booked a 3 night stay in a deluxe room on the 3rd floor. #5. I was only able to have one shower with some hot water. My wife boiled water in the kettle and tried to clean up in the bathtub. They do say it takes five minutes for the hot water to come, but there was essentially no pressure (only an trickle) and throughout our stay with the exception of one time, hot water never came. We tried early morning , afternoon and evening to take a shower. It’s too bad because there’s a beautiful bathtub in this unit. I spoke to the staff a couple times about the issue. I heard it’s a common issue. I do you like the hotel, the view from the roof and our room, the staff…however, having a shower and getting cleaned up on a daily basis is important.

Overall, very nice stay. The loft was spacious and furnished nicely. Property was clean, and staff were very friendly. It was a bit of a hike to any of the major sites, but Valparaiso is very hilly.

Nice staff, welcoming hotel

The hotel is in a really nice part of Valparaiso with lots of restaurants within walking distance. The room was spacious and well-lit. The bathroom was also quite big and the shower was really nice. The staff were super helpful and gave us lots of information about the area and places to visit. The rooftop terrace is lovely with excellent views.

Great stay, staff exceptional-especially Felipe. The rooms were quite large, good view and was able to open windows on 3rd floor to enjoy ocean breeze.

Great location in Valpo. All of the staff was very helpful and went out of their way to assist us—stored a lot of luggage for us, helped us bring it to our room, and was very responsive. Breakfast was cooked to order and kitchen staff was also very nice. A small boutique hotel that delivered.

This is a gorgeous property in the Cerro Alegre, walkable to everything. The staff was professional and helpful - and spoke English, which was much appreciated as we arrived after traveling for 24 hours! The breakfast was terrific, the room large and well-appointed. Highly recommend!

We did not arrive until late at night. The hotel was expecting us. They called us by name and greeted us with a friendly smile Check in was quick. The fellow took our bags up to our room for us, set us up on Wi-Fi and answered any questions we had. The room was large and lovely and overlooked Valpariso Bay. The bathroom was fully renovated, and there was a small kitchen more like a studio apartments. The place was spotless and secure. Breakfast the next day was tasty and eggs were cooked to order. There was an elevator which came quickly. We will stay there again in a heartbeat. We will be back to Valpariso, as there’s much to see and do.
