Disappointed Loyal Customer – New Early Check-In Fees Having stayed at the Panama Hilton over 20 times, I was shocked by a sudden decline in customer service. They tried to demand a steep surcharge that costs as much as a high-end lobster dinner just to let me into an already empty roomy. I voiced my complaint to the staff, and they ultimately waived the fee. However, introducing these hidden surcharges makes long-time guests feel undervalued. I will be reconsidering my future loyalty to this property.

Phenomenal location and accommodating staff!

Our stay was ideal. The hotel is very well maintained. Our room overlooked the bay; the view was impressive. Employees are very polite and attentive. Breakfast buffet offers a variety of delicious options; it also includes a juice bar, which is not to be missed. Several on-site restaurants to choose from and a Starbucks in the lobby level. We tried the italian restaurant twice and it did not disappoint. Gym is expansive and very complete. Did a spa afternoon and it was a very enjoyable experience for us. Special mention to our concierge Gina, who is extremely knowledgeable and polite. She made everything happen for us. Her coordination of our day tours was flawless. All in all, a memorable stay.

First class hotel in downtown with excellent view from pool and restaurant area on high floor (really pleasant at night). Many dining options and not far from Panama Canal and old city.

Excelent hotel, great staff, amazing food, safe area

Everything was great except for an elevator door that was closing too fast and hit my head and shoulder. My head hurt for two weeks and my neck was sore too from the concussion.

April 2026 — Luxury, romance, and family comfort with incredible bay views (and excellent accessibility) Our 2nd stay at the Hilton Panama in April 2026 once again exceeded expectations. Our group of four stayed for a week in an Ocean View Master Suite and an accessible Ocean View Premium Double. From arrival to departure, the service was phenomenal. A special thanks to Director of Operations, Ms. Peralta, whose amazing care made our stay truly exceptional. The beautifully maintained property overlooks Panama Bay and is centrally located. We loved the amenities: the rooftop pool, spa, casino, and the unique Emotions Dinner Theatre. Dining across the restaurants and room service was consistently strong. The Ocean View Master Suite is a fantastic family setup (ideal for 2 adults and 2 children). It feels like a private apartment, featuring a living room with a pullout bed, a second bathroom, and a kitchen/dining area. The bedroom opens to a balcony offering uninterrupted, cinematic views of the bay—our favorite spot to watch the tides and ships. The massive primary bathroom adds a romantic touch with a soaking tub overlooking the city skyline. Accessibility was another major highlight. The property is highly navigable, and my 89-year-old mother-in-law found her accessible Premium Double incredibly comfortable and easy to use. With standout service, comfort, and unforgettable views, the Hilton Panama remains a top choice. We’ll definitely be back!
