My husband and I recently stayed in the White Cockatoo Villa at Narrows Escape Rainforest Retreat, and it was absolutely beautiful. The villa was spacious, private, and incredibly relaxing. The heated plunge pool was set to the perfect temperature, and the bathtub was large enough for both of us to enjoy together. Waking up each morning to the stunning rainforest views was a highlight of our stay. Ali and Xochi were exceptional hosts and truly went above and beyond to make our stay special. Each morning we were treated to warm, freshly baked croissants for breakfast. As I am gluten-free, they thoughtfully provided me with a delicious gluten-free treat each day, along with a loaf of gluten-free bread and a gluten-free cheese platter on arrival. These thoughtful touches were very much appreciated. We also ordered the Mediterranean chicken dish, which was delicious and made for an easy and enjoyable dinner in the villa. During our stay, we completed the Great Walk from Kondalilla Falls to Baroon Pocket Dam. As the walk isn’t a circuit, Ali and Xochi kindly offered to drive us to the starting point and then picked us up at the end of the hike. This level of service really exceeded our expectations. It’s the little extras and genuine care that made our stay so memorable. We left feeling completely relaxed and refreshed and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Was beautiful however we weren't allowed our dog there even though we booked pet friendly. However we will definitely be back as it was a beautiful place

We checked in and was helped by the owners getting all our luggage carried to cottage.... and it was such a wonderful surprise to have espresso martinis already made up with a cheese and cracker platter in the fridge. fresh local foods also were stocked so we didn't have to go anywhere for breakfast the next day..... we made our own.

They thought of every little detail .nothing was left out.loved the hot croissants delivered for breakfast.

Perfect way to detach from the world and spend some time in nature while having all of the luxury features you need. Loved it!

Lovely break away for a few nights.

Lovely spot. Very secluded. Fresh croissants left at your door every morning was nice. We arrived after dark. A young man showed us where our room was and then left. Would have been nice for him to give us more details of how to use gadgets and services within our room. We had to go back to our car and carry our bags back in the dark. No help was offered. Carried heavy suitcases up many flights of stairs with minimal lighting. Would not recommend this spot for people who are older or not fit enough to lug suitcases up flights of stairs in the dark. More assistance should be offered.

Lovely place to stay. Very comfortable villa set in the rainforest. Lots of little touches - cookies, flowers, chocolate. Very quiet and relaxing. Great location for walks around Lake Baroon. Very welcoming.

We had a such wonderful stay, amazing suite, the attention to details and the quality of service was A1.

It was the perfect getaway for myself and my husband. We spent the wet weekend away, nestled in a stunning cabin in the middle of the rainforest. Our kind hosts ensured we had absolutely everything we need with a beautiful breakfast hamper (with local produce) coffee & fresh warm croissants delivered each morning. The beds were incredible comfortable and it was just the perfect setting to fall asleep to the in! The cabins are only 2 mins from the heart of Montville, making it easy to pop in to do some quick shopping. Would Highly recommend Narrows to anyone who’s looking for a getaway!

A very wonderful 3 nights in a very special place. No noise or disturbances just the sounds of nature. The owners have added lots of special touches to make your stay as relaxing and stress free as possible. Would definitely stay again.

This is our third stay at the Narrows! We stayed at the Wagtail pavilion, the big hot tub in the lounge area near the fire pit is always something I look forward to in my stay. The breakfast hamper is so generous and the you can borrow movies and games from the reception. I haven’t tried the saltwater pool since it was quite cold when we were there so I couldn’t comment on that. The hot water stopped on our check out day but the management was very helpful at trying to fix it. Would definitely stay again. :)

Staff were welcoming and the Pavillion was beautiful. We had a problem with hot water during our stay and due to circumstances it was unable to be fixed during our stay however the staff were very apologetic and allowed us the use of another Pavillion to shower after checkout. We were also compensated fairly for the inconvenience.

The host makes the most delicious bread and pastry. Very friendly, welling to help. The fireplace is brilliant for these cold months.

From the moment you turn down narrows road and into the narrows escape driveway, it's very quiet and peaceful, The New owners are doing a great job, the complimentary croissants are lovely, we had a few friendly breakfast wildlife visitors. Room has a nice layout for a romantic escape, we did have a few issues because we were pregnant with the low lounge, but the owner did offer on 2nd night to bring another chair for us. overall we enjoyed our stay.
