Excellent location; short walk from the train station; incredibly close to the tram (perfect for getting to/from the airport); short walk to most places in Bergen. Lovely room; excellent toiletries. The cleaning lady that we spoke with was very friendly and helpful. Excellent varied breakfast, with lots of vegetarian choices.

Compact room, but clean and with room for our 2 medium suitcases. Great breakfast buffet, good location between downtown fish market area and Havila/Hurtigruten terminal, and train station.

An amazing location in a central Bergen shopping street but tranquil inside, wonderful for sleeping. The staff were warm, welcoming and helpful. Our beautiful balcony room was stylish and comfortable. The varied breakfast was fantastic offering an amazing selection.

Hotel 13 is In a perfect location. The room was very eclectic. We loved it. Breakfast was very good. The staff very friendly. Highly recommend!

Hotel No. 13 is a charming boutique hotel located right on the central square in Bergen. Its excellent location - near to the ferry terminal, to buses and rails, as well as to most of the sights makes it a winner. The rooms are a little on the small side, and some (the one we were in) has no door separating the bath and toilet area from the main room, although there are of course doors to the WC area and the shower stall that can be closed. The rooms also do not have windows to the outside so they can feel a little claustrophobic. This was not helped by the fact that the room felt a bit still, like lacking of airflow. Still, the room felt warm and cosy, and was comfortable enough for 2 adults for a few nights’ stay. Housekeeping was a bit of hit and miss - the first night after checking in, we found an unwashed coffee cup, the second night we had no cups at all! They also failed to clear one of the cups we had used to make a cup of tea in. Service-wise, the staff didn’t seem very knowledgeable about Bergen - not really able to give any advice on tax refunds nor on how to get to the airport. The hotel does serve a decent breakfast in the basement. And the lobby area is gorgeous and inviting.

The only issue we have was there was no outside window in the room only a frosted window this was very claustrophobic we didn’t complain as that’s not us but I would go back but please ensure it’s clear that some rooms don’t have external windows

Really enjoyed this hotel. It was comfortable, very clean and had a great breakfast each day. It is also an easy walk to restaurants, shopping and all the tourist attractions around Bergen. I would definitely pick this one again on a future visit.

I stayed in 4 hotels during my Norway trip and I think Hotel No13 is the best one. It is located in the centre of the main "hall", while it even wasn't loud during evenings.It was about 10-15minutes walk to the train and bus station and 5-minute walk to the pier. The room is well maintained, beautiful and clean. One common complaint I saw was that about the window. It was tainted glass and we cannot see anything outside. But it wasn't a problem for me at all. We stayed in Bergen during the hottest time and room is relatively cool. The staff (esp Thomas/Tomas?) was very helpful in various occasions.
