Not enough storage or places to put things no chair or table or wardrobe just a few coat hangers above kettle and tea making area , I know it’s a small room but needs a update , saniflo waste system noisy , I get that’s the only way to have a w/c ( I’m a plumber ) having a shower was scary , water filling tray ? Overall a nice hotel great staff perfect location and free parking

Conveniently located B & B in a local pub with parking and eatery’s in the immediate vicinity. Lovely and simple place!

Old building, we could not close the single glazed window properly. Cleaning staff left equipment in our room

The staff was very kind, the check-in and checkout was quick, the room was clean with tv, wifi, nice view! I haven't had a chance to try their breakfast or bar although they offered me that.

Staff were okay. The toilet in the room was a saniflow. Very strange. The water in the shower was not flowing well due to the saniflow. Floor was dirty as well. I would not be going back sorry.

Yes… conveniently placed for all amenities including train station..Not much noise in the rooms. Very friendly staff and owners.. didn’t have car but apparently they are parking facilities nearby.

Inexpensive hotel in a great location and five minutes walk to the centre of York, having the added advantage of onsite car parking. Have stayed here twice now and will definitely be staying again. Far exceeded our expectations for what first appears to be a budget hotel.

The room was very adequate and clean. The staff were lovely, Daniel looked after us very well. Breakfast was incredible. I had to ask for a smaller one. We were just near enough to walk into the main part. We would book there again

The bed was unbelievably comfy, the room was clean and warm and the staff on the bar were a great help and very friendly.

Fantastic room, clean, comfortable, spacious and quiet. Great location, just a short stroll to the city wall and city centre. Owner was very friendly, letting us use the carpark after we checked out. Will definitely visit again
