great location for the blues festival! Walked to all venues and the area of the hotel was very safe.

First time in Ohio for Kent State University Transfer Student Orientation. The hotel experience was perfect. I would definitely book here again.

Overall nice property. Hotel was clean, quiet, friendly staff. Problem with communication prior to date of stay. Received an email two days before stay that they could not honor the reservation and then another email the next day that they would have a room available. I also received an email that the pool and spa were closed but when I arrived (without a suit) I was told it had opened the day before. Overall very stressful and confusing.

Room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of space. Parking next door for $15. Plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Very cool area to hang around and grab a drink, have a bite and just walk the paths along the river. Would definitely stay again.

Was a bit unsure of where to park upon arrival. Perhaps I missed a note or disclaimer about that prior? If not, maybe that would be a helpful notification for guests. Otherwise, my stay was really quite accommodating. Thank you!

Basic, no frills, clean, quiet, efficient, convenient.

Very clean and staff was friendly. I choose this hotel to use the hot tub and pool but it was not open and I didn’t know until we arrived. In addition we tried to order room service and were told it was not available due to the hotel being busy.

We loved the location and convenience of the KSU Hotel, and the room itself was large and clean. However, the pool and hot tub were down when we visited, which was a big factor in our choice to stay due to having our 6 and 8 year old children with us. Also, the bathroom was very small for a family of four and only had a shower, with no bathtub, and very little vanity space. While that would be great for adults only, with kids it would have been nice to have the option of a larger bathroom with a tub.

Great hotel and so close to campus!

The hotel was clean, comfortable and the room was a good size. It was within walking distance to everything do Kent has to offer as well as a bike trail. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful too. The only minor issue was that there is no free overnight parking.
