The manor was very lovely and quaint. The room was small but well equipped and very clean. Grocery store and restaurants close by. Continental breakfast and use of a full kitchen. Staff were lovely. The place was very quiet and would recommend it, the place had only 8 rooms.

Room was very nice and so was the continental breakfast. The driveway was steep and access on and off of Sandy Bay road was not for the faint-of-heart. Location was convenient for restaurants, Battery Point, Salamanca, and Franklin Wharf.

Return trip as we booked 2 nights at beginning of holiday to Tasmania and our last day as well. Rooms are wonderful, clean, comfortable beds, great self serve breakfast.

King bed was awesome, clean, spotless room and friendly staff. Would highly recommend! Quiet, large rooms and so nice to have self serve breakfast in the morning room. We walked to waterfront and great ethnic restaurants close by. We had 2 nights and then touring about Tassie for 8 days and then coming back to Clydesdale for our last night.

Nice room with acces to the garden.The house is a lovely and quiet traditional home.We loved lounging in the sitting room and reading as you can’t hear a thing and was therefore very conducive to relaxation.Breakfast is self service and was adequate to get you going for the day.

Lovely room, bathroom, amenities, breakfast, staff, easy parking, location and grounds. We stayed there twice at the beginning and end of our trip to Tasmania. Different rooms but both were wonderful!

Wonderful 3 night stay at Clydesdale Manor! Our room, and the entire place, had lots of character, high ceilings, elegant furnishings, a lovely breakfast and beautiful gardens and grounds. Parking onsite. Staff were great and very responsive. Felt welcomed and at home from the minute we arrived even though we self checked in. The kitchen was available to use during the day. Walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants, grocery store and pharmacy. Waterfront area was further but walkable. We had a wonderful stay!

Stayed 3 nights at Clydesdale Manor at the end of a Tasmania road trip. It’s a beautiful building inside and out, with nice gardens and plenty of parking. It’s a couple of kilometres outside the centre of Hobart. it’s walkable in half an hour, which is fine if you’re going there for the day, but a bit inconvenient for dinner/drinks in the evening unless you don’t mind driving or taking taxis. Having said that, there are some excellent places to eat nearby. Our room was large and traditionally furnished. Not as much storage space as you’d expect, and the wardrobe was a bit rickety (it wasn’t attached to the drawer it sat on top of, and it would tumble forward when opening it). The room had a spa bath, which was excellent, but it took 40 minutes to fill. So you need to plan ahead if you want to use it. WiFi was pretty slow. Not always good enough for streaming. The complimentary breakfast each morning was simple but appreciated.

Great location for our needs, clean rooms and just a nice ambience. Beds great also, would recommend for sure.
