The staff were beyond friendly and good recommendations for things to see and places to dine the area. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The views here from your room and the many terraces are incredible!

Spacious cave room with a nice bathroom within walking distance of everything. An excellent breakfast. Remember that you can’t park here and must park outside of the zone on the street. Matera is amazing.

The total experience was excellent. We were in Room 12 and the view was worth every penny. The staff were very nice and helpful. The coffee and breakfast in the morning were excellent. You must stay here!

Hotel was great. Amazing views and the staff was excellent. We had a car and they sent lots of communication about how to reserve a spot in a nearby parking garage with a shuttle to the hotel. Lived the cave room and being in the heart of the historic area.

Nice cave hotel. Cool room, very comfortable. 2 outdoor terraces with great Sassi views. Easy access by taxi, not many stairs. Well located for attractions and restaurants. Tasty home made breakfast items.Lovely staff. Enjoyable stay.

Parking is outside the historic area. Great service and breakfast. Very easy to get everywhere from there. The view from the front room was great and huge but a little bit noisy. I would recommend the hotel to friends and family.

Location was amazing with some of the best views of Matera. One can just enjoy from the comfort of the room in the private balcony or with just windows open. While we had to carry the luggage down to the property, proper research would have suggested the public transport that we could have been used to minimize the hassle. Breakfast here was excellent with so many choices, including some fresh food. Their offer to store luggage after checkout is a good option to avail.
