El Principe is our go to stay for short trips to Panama City. It's always comfortable, convenient and clean. The 24hr minimart right next door has everything from great coffee and cold drinks to pizzas and a decent wine selection.

No water bottles in the room, and only 1 bath towel… no coffee machine either… BUT everything else was good, super friendly staff, a nice sushi restaurant and a very nice store where you can get coffee, pastries, drinks and much more which made everything easy 🌺 Good bed, A/C, TV (Netflix & more)

Clean, comfortable rooms. Good A/C Hot shower. Courteous and professional staff. A little traffic noise but nothing ear plugs didn’t solve. Located across street from an excellent Italian restaurant. Wonderful for the price!

There was a small issue with the air conditioner; the remote needed batteries. But the maintenance person showed up quickly and fixed the issue.

This hotel was a winner for my 1st trip to Panama. I ready did not know what to expect so I was pleasantly surprised. The room was a mini suite with a small refrigerator. It would have been better if there was a microwave in the room but staff helped us to warm food. There was no iron or ironing board; it's a good thing we didn't need them. The room was clean and spacious. The location was very convenient as there is a 24 hour convenience store right next door and several eateries and a foodstore in walking distance. There is also a tour company desk in the lobby that was very convenient. Will definitely go back.

It has an ideal location and ideal staff. I visit Panama often and I wouldn't even think of looking for another hotel.

The staff were very friendly when we arrived and the hotel was very clean. The pool was not in working order and didn't seem like it had been filled in some time. The location was excellent (very close to multiple restaurants, stores, etc. and was above a grocery/convenience store, which was great!)

Great place to stay for a great price. Within walking distance to restaurants and stores. The air conditioning and hot water were perfect! Rooms are spacious and clean. Front desk were kind and upgraded us without charge.

There were no towels in the room. This has happened on 4 or 5 different stays at this hotel. Sometimes 1 towel. This time NO towels. How in the world can they constantly forget to put towels in the room ??? I recommend AVOIDING this hotel until the management decides to take its responsibilities seriously.

Very unique and quiet atmospher, away from the more busier main drag. Walking distant to bank, restaurants and a variety of shopping. Modest price for someone who is not planning on spending the entire vacation locked up in a room
