Staff & Service would received 5 stars if not for one of the staff members in the spa. We seemed like an inconvenience. Beyond that everything was wonderful.

Nice and clean hotel, very helpful and accommodating staff.

The facilities are a bit tired and the beds are really soft. We changed rooms from the spa house to the main house after 2 nights. The bed was marginally better/newer and the room was a bit fresher. The reception staff were empathetic to our problem with the beds, but told us all the beds are the same. From the spa we only used the outdoor hot tub and the indoor pool. The hot tub was not so hot and the pool was quite warm. The breakfast spread is good, hot food included. But they stop refilling it for the later seatings so you may not get bacon if you're not an early riser. The restaurant for dinner was the highlight. Excellent food and friendly staff. While the whisky selection large, the regular bar staff aren't very knowledgable about it. So do your research ahead of time (and watch the price list!) or be sure to come when they're offering a scheduled tasting (presumably this would be better, but there were no tastings during our stay so I can't say for sure).

What a wonderful hotel to stay! So great swimming pool and jacuzzi bath! Free refreshments by the pool ... Great amenity, Bath robe and slippers.... Good AC (air conditioning), very clean and nice. We loved this place and from now on we always would like to come to stay in this hotel. It’s a new our favourite place to spend our free time. Additionally this hotel takes Covid19 so seriously, that it’s very clean and for breakfast and fitness or wellness, you must book time in order to avoid too many people at the same time. They clean dining-tables very often with disinfectant liquid (consideration for Corona). We felt very safe at this hotel.

Nice hotel with very friendly staff and good food. Beds were not comfortable and playground outside needs to be updated. But overall good location and we enjoyed our stay.

The Hotel tradition back back to the 18th century. It is well kept and has it's own whiskey distillery. An outside, an indoor pool and a spa with Sauna and whirlpool rounds up the advantages. It is located close to the baltic sea and only a short drive away from a small shopping center or over the bridge to Kalmar. Within five minutes you can walk to the small harbor that has some restaurants.

Bra trevligt hotell. Inte stort SPA och inte så mkt att göra. Fräschare frukt kunde det ha serverats i Spaet

Allt var jättebra. Och jättefin frukost som även hade glutenfria alternativ.

Glatt överraskad när vi klev in på rummet, större än förväntat, 2 rum, passade oss jättebra. Inte toppmodern utan detta lite mer personliga. Sköna sängar, lugnt och stilla. Relaxavdelningen var precis vad vi behövde, utsikten med solnedgången 👍. Frukosten hade allt vi ville ha, fräscht och inbjudande. Trevlig miljö överhuvudtaget och trevlig o bemötande personal. Vi är väldigt nöjda med vår vistelse på Hotel Skansen 😀

Prima verblijfsaccomodatie met leuke mogelijkheden in de omgeving. Alleen jammer, maar dat is persoonlijk , dat het restauranr een beperkte kaart heeft.

Trevligt Hotel, rent och snyggt. Trevlig personal. Bra frukost, och bra mat i restaurangen !

Städning var bra saknar en dörrmatta att ställa skorna på så att smuts stannar vid dörren!! Vinglas ej rent!

Ett jättefint hotell med bra läge. Lugnt och tyst..Något hårda sängar. Bra frukost. Fin spa och relaxavdelning med bubbelpool och inomhuspoom, uppvärmd utomhuspool. Såg dock ingen personal när vi var där. God mat i restaurangen

Flickorna i reception och restaurangen gjorde ett jättebra bra jobb och vi kände oss verkligen välkomna

Väldigt mysigt ställe som bara behöver få ordning på sina elladdningsstolpar för att det ska bli riktigt bra. Under hela vår vistelse på 3 nätter var samtliga laddstolpar ur funktion, vilket tyvärr påverkar hela upplevelsen av vår vistelse då det inte finns så många alternativ i närheten.
