The beds were pretty hard, mine was positioned next to the bathroom and I was getting the smell of raw sewage coming from somewhere. The school across the street practice band practice very loudly until 9 PM and let out and there was a ton of noise from the busy street outside. I got the strange feeling that I was being watched the entire time. The owner and her friends were hanging out and eating right in front of the main door every time I passed through. Even though I only stayed two nights they came through into the room and “cleaned”, which surprised me and made me feel like I lacked privacy. I really didn’t enjoy staying there.

Caribo Cozumel is a gem in the heart of San Miguel and close to everything you'd want to see and do. Cindy, Erin and Ceci made our 2 weeks a warm, welcoming and memorable stay. Quaint and lovely. Highly recommended.

Overall a quiet place. Onsight employees very visible and the visitors have to be mindful that its frowned upon to have visitors at property.

I was so fortunate to happen upon this hidden jewel while scrolling through hotel options. It is an amazing place with an onsite owner who takes pride (and deservedly so) on all that she can offer her guests--stocked communal kitchen, a sparkling clean plunge pool, bursts of plants everywhere and quiet rooms with a spacious bathroom. It's a short 10-minute walk to downtown Cozumel.

Very clean, great service, close to everything!

Awesome place, affordable and close to town, about 10 minute walk off Melgar. There are food options close, and the owners will give you recommendations. The room is basic, no television or clock but clean and I had daily housekeeping. Bring your own toiletries, blow dryer, etc. My room had a small kitchenette, but other than the small fridge I didn’t use any of it. They supply purified water in the shared kitchen downstairs. The entire area is safe for a solo female traveler, I had no problems at any time of the day or night. Thank you Caribo!!

Room was huge and well stocked. Quiet area with great local restaurants.

The room was clean and stocked with fresh linens each day. Mini fridge in the room. Hot water to shower. Location was fantastic. Plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Five short blocks from the ocean. I'd stay here again and recommend it to everyone I know. There was fresh brewed coffee every morning. A shared kitchen stocked with spices and everything I could need to cook. They also provide drinking water.

Everything was Perfect. Cindy the owner was there and she was very welcoming.

The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking. Supermarket with vegetables and fresh food were very close. To the sea 10 minutes. We will definitely come back again because we like everything about this place

Very comfortable and clean guest house a short walk from the town centre. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need and lots of lovely sitting areas around. We had a great stay in Cozumel.
