You’ve got to read the small print No pool before June 1s and also no air conditioning … even though it was 30 degrees outside The room smelt very musky and was as basic as a 2 star hotel I know this hotel is rated 3 star , I think that is being generous The breakfast was ok though

Hotel is nice enough and clean with good lake views and just a quick walk to the water. It is further away from the station, boats and most shops but the panoramic walk between is very nice. I booked this hotel specifically partly due to the mentioned airport shuttle for a surcharge listed on expedia which does not exist. They offered to call a taxi for €180 which is hardly a "surcharge". Also I was frustrated by the lack of coffee or kettle in room; there was a breakfast available but hours were short so coffee wasn't available before my train. As long as you're ok w the above, good place to stay for the price just didn't have what I was expecting.

Location is OK as long as you are prepared to walk about 1 KM each way to the center for a restaurant. Breakfast was OK but the waiters will not fill up the buffet unless you remind them to do so. AC didn’t work on the first day and barely worked after it was “fixed” We are at the end of a month long vacation in Italy and honestly, this was the worst hotel we stayed in so far. No, I will not recommend the Della Torre hotel in Stresa to my friends.

Hotel Della torre was a pretty good spot. Semi ish far from downtown but I think all the hotels are. Good showers with good pressure. There was always hot water available. Wasn’t allowed to change to room temperature and it was kind of humid in the rooms. Balcony was a nice reprieve and allowed for some air flow. Took off a star cause we chose this hotel due to the hotel.com advertisement of airport shuttles and the hotel did not have airport shuttles.

Hotel was close for walking to all the shops.couldnt beat the price!

We had a lovely time staying here for two nights. Well appointed rooms. Paying for the view was worthwhile. Breakfast was great. The weather was a bit too chilly to use the pool. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We stayed in the family room and it was very well set up for myself, my husband, and my two teens (who had a semi separate room and one bed each). Very much enjoyed our stay here and the hotel's buffet breakfast is excellent.

The property was in a good area and the staff were warm, helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good as was the evening meal. It was excellent value for money.

Very nice pool and breakfast buffet. The air conditioning, was however, not very robust. Located in close proximity to the docks for boat rides to the islands and stroll along the waterfront.

The property was great, as were the staff and the included breakfast. It was within walking distance of the train station and the waterfront and ferries. A great choicest a good price. Best of our trip.

The hotel in general was nice and convenient to get around Stresa. It has a ferry at just one block of distance. The downside of the place was that the AC wasn’t working in any room in September. To me it was too hot. They have a fan that you can borrow if you’re lucky, because it’s only one fan for all guests. The breakfast was good and the room was good.

We loved the pool and the breakfast. The room was OK. There was some noise from the trains, though it wasn't too disruptive of sleep.

Nice hotel with a fantastic view of the lake from our balcony. Great location across from the ferry and within easy walking distance of Stresa and the much grander hotels on the main boulevard. Daily breakfast offered plenty of variety and was served on a terrace with lake views. The swimming pool is a lovely amenity. A wonderful hotel for the price—and the Alibus from Milan Airport made this so easy to access.

Good size room with balcony, very clean. Reception staff friendly and helpful. 15 minute walk into main square.
