Let me start with a shout out to the amazing kitchen & dining staff. Alexandra your team is amazing. They work tirelessly to keep tables clean, available and serviced. Food options aren’t vast at times but quality of food is always good. Also, enough options for all to keep a family of various ages, preferences and tastes alike, satisfied. Another shout out to the waterpark staff who maintain safety of all. Each run on the slides is confirmed for safety. Amazing staff. Toiletries, facilities, amenities are good. Well maintained rooms, waterpark and pools. Would recommend the hotel to anyone without hesitation.

We waited about 40 minutes just to check in and the staff member never explained where our room was located. we took the wrong elevator with three kids and four suitcases, squeezed into a very small elevator and then had to come back down to ask where our room actually was. For a room costing over €800 per night for a family of five. it was not what we expected. The beds were surprisingly small, even with young children and the bathroom felt old and outdated. The dinner buffet was crowded. The pool, water park, kids’ club, and playground all closed surprisingly early (7:00 p.m.), which was disappointing for families. That said, our kids absolutely loved the pools and water park while they were open. A few other things that surprised us: * No body lotion was provided in the room. * Guests are required to leave a €10 deposit for each pool towel. * During our 3 night stay, housekeeping never replaced our used coffee cups. * The drinking glasses in the bathroom were never changed either.

We had a great holiday here half board. Breakfast loads to choose from cereals, breads, cooked foods, yogurts, fruit pastries. Dinner was just as good plenty of options. Waterpark was an added bonus. One pool always had sunbeds available and loads of spares in a bundle the other pool where the entertainment was on there was no beds but we were not fussed. The room was a good size good air con and fridge. The only thing I put for 4 stars was the cleanliness of the glass lift …. Please give it a clean ! Over all a good stay and would return and recommend

Had to walk back and forth to the secondary parking (approximately 500m one way) as instructions were not clear on first day and card was deactivated on last day before checking out. Due to a national holiday fireworks went off till 2:30 am and did not have a restful sleep.

Perfect staff and location

Clean rooms, large hotel with lots of people. Always big lines at the buffet, food is okay, drinks weren’t good. Overall this is a good place for families with kids, lots of activities for kids, water park.would not recommend this place for those traveling without kids as the place is a zoo.

One of the most cost-effective options near the Barcelona area for a family with kids aged between 10 and 14.

This place was great for a family getaway with young kids given the multiple pools and kids activities. My son loved going to the clubhouse and doing dancing with all the other kids each night.

We had a very pleasant stay at Golden Taurus Aquapark Resort. The location is excellent—right by the beach and close to the train for easy access to Barcelona. The facilities are well-maintained, with multiple pools and a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were helpful and responsive, and any minor issues were handled professionally. Overall, it’s a great value stay in a convenient location, and we would happily return.

Parking fee information is not provided in expedia. Very limited parking inside the hotel/resort and there are just too many people. There is a free parking next to the hotel but I parked inside for two hours and told that since I parked inside for two hours, I need to pay for the entire stay. Biggest problem was no AC, for two nights did not sleep for 5 minutes due to the heat. I had to keep the sliding doors open all night but the noice and mosquitos.didn'y help. Suffered for two days due to lack of sleep. Forget about AC, there is no fan either. Absolutely a nightmare experience. Actually the hotel was very good and they have a great buffet for free but due to some.of the issues I mentioned it ruined for my family. Also for my room, you actually need to go behind the staircase, no one told me and there are no signs so we took the main elevator after a long line to find out our room number does not even exist..Also check in took more than 45 minutes, It is extremely slow, may be due to their regulations, I don't know. Imagine that you are going thru these nightmares after travelling for more than 10 hours in flight from US. Management needs to seriously think all these before making decisions to not provide AC until June or something. They are not helping themselves when they make these kinds of unbelievable decisions in a tourist destination. I have no words. To my surprise, that place is packed, looks like a lot of people are ok with such experience in Spain.

Had a fab holiday at Golden Taurus...the room was spacious, and the kids loved their dedicated bedroom and bathroom; plenty of hotel pools to choose from, when they didn't feel like going to the Aquapark and Sports area which was so convenient. The staff were excelllent and so friendly; the buffet restaurant had a great variety of good quality ( my only constructive criticism would be that they could manage the breakfast queues for eggs and pancakes better; I stopped queuing for eggs after day 2), the bar snacks were excellent ( hot dogs and burgers better than the restaurant )..entertainment was very good and the hotel had everything you might need

I was half board and the food is really nice. We were able to get sun loungers even if we got to the pool early afternoon. Lunch was a reasonable price. Minimal queues at the aqua park. My children enjoyed the kids club and all the entertainment and activities. The pool was so much fun. The room is really nice with the children in their own room. Lots of wardrobe space. Bathroom is spacious. I was disappointed the beach is small stones rather than sand. The lift to our room didn't work a few times. I was told the taxi to the airport was 125 euros but he was on a meter.

If I could give this hotel less than 1 star for cleanliness I would. There was black mould all over the bathroom, thick dust all over the room and the linen was dirty. The service was not good. My son was sick during our stay and they were incredibly unhelpful. The buffet was as you'd expect. The wait staff presented as unhappy, when ordering drinks heavy sighs and eye rolls followed. The entertainment seemed fun. The hotel is generally incredibly run down. We avoided the lifts as you were lucky if you could ever get one. Usual thing with people reserving their sun chairs from silly o'clock but staff did nothing to deter this. The local area is not particularly desirable so a lot of time was spent in the hotel so would have preferred it to be a more enjoyable experience. This is not a 4 star hotel in my opinion. If you know that and go with low expectations you'll be fine. Probably a good idea to bring cleaning products!
