Our room was smaller than we expected but supplied everything we needed, including a fan. There was minor road noise but this did not disturb us and is to be expected at a hotel in such a good position. The highlights were the excellent service of all the cheerful staff and the complimentary breakfast.

easy access for drivers and good parking. Welcoming , happy staff, room was clean and had everything you need. Decor a little tired! Service at Breakfast on Saturday morning was a efficient and Charlotte who served me was cheerful and helpful

We only had a one night stay in the twin room and participated in an evening meal. Whilst the room was adequate and amenities average for a hotel this size, any distraction from the room, was totally overwritten by the outstanding attention to service provided by the staff….and wonderful food. Both the evening meal & breakfast were well above average. We thanked the young manager and suggested his staff were a credit to his obvious hard work and professionalism.😌

With the weather being extremely hot the rooms were very warm but the fans did help, obviously no AC but the staff and the breakfast were great.

Staff were amazing, we had been before and thought how the whole place needed a revamp it was looking tired this time, food was good, Bar prices were very steep, nearly £5 for a bottle of coke,!!!!!. We would come back though.

This was where we stayed last year, very near Yeovil Golf Club, where we needed to be. Excellent food, staff were really helpful. Breakfast amazing. Plenty of parking.

You will not find happier and helpful staff anywhere else. Super friendly nothing too much trouble. Room was super cute. Could do with a little fridge. Restaurant food exceptional. Felt so welcome

Was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was a little in need of a fresh coat of paint, however the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. Dinner and breakfast were excellent, with a great menu. Asking for dietary options no trouble at all. The room was clean and tastefully decorated, and even in the hot weather I got an excellent nights sleep, thanks to a thoughtfully provided fan in the room. The shower had excellent water pressure and all together I had a lovely experience there and would recommend.

Our rooms were lovely, both en suite. Staff were most helpful and breakfast and meals were amazing! A brilliant place to stay also if travelling by train!

I also stay here when in the area. I know what you get is value for Money. On arriving the staff welcome you, bedrooms are clean and tidy, bar staff and the food are great. Good nights sleep and great breakfast to start the following day.

Breakfast menu good and wholesome. All staff and at all times were excellent. Room clean but shower was not cleaned properly around door sliders, and mouldy sealant around especially bottom edges of shower tray. Toilet seat was loose as something had either come loose or broken. A socket next to bedside cabinet broken so not working. Building very close to park and walking so very good position.

Clean and comfortable room though the decor could do with a little freshen up here and there. Free water and toiletries etc topped up every day. Good choice at breakfast. Plenty of car park space with security cameras. Staff friendly and helpful.

Food was good, bit too much noise from the road and the beer garden. Staff were obviously very busy but doing their best.
