I was just passing through, but this is a lovely hotel in a lovely town.

We originally had Airbnb accommodations for that night. When we arrived we did NOT feel safe so I had to make immediate reservations. My niece came across Hotel Ibaïa and we booked a reservation. It was beautifully designed, spotless and very quiet. We had an extremely long and stressful day and needed to be somewhere safe. We walked along the beach, ordered a pizza not too far away. The hotel was exactly what we need. Thank You, Hotel Ibaia!

The hotel was fine, the rooms are quite small and have a bit of an institutional feel to them, not as nice as the pictures suggest. There was a damp smell in our room and strange smell in the communal areas. There is very limited space to put your clothes as no drawer space, we were there for 5 days in high summer so had quite a lot of stuff. The balcony was a big plus and we ate out there several times. I was disappointed that the bar was never open; the staff seemed confused when I asked. Breakfast was very expensive, good value though if you can eat so much in the morning! we mostly used the beach cabins. Pool is nice but very cold, its a long time since I've been in an unheated pool! The best thing about this hotel is the location which is second to none. Bus services to get around and the outstanding Euskotren are cheap and reliable. Don't bank on ever getting a taxi!

No restaurant or bar facilities as previously shown.no effort to clean outside areas near pool.parking was15 euros per day.

We stopped in Hendaye for one night on a drive up through France. The hotel was well located - close to the beach and in a quiet neighborhood. The room was clean and spacious with a nice balcony. We traveled with our four month old baby and they had a perfect crib for him. We didn't have time to try any amenities like the pool, fitness, etc but they seemed well equipped. The staff was friendly and spoke English. My only complaint was the curtains were flimsy and we woke up at 6 am, not because of the baby but because of the sun rise.

Modern hotel set one block away from a fabulous beach, and overlooking a massive marina on the French/ Spanish border. Would be ideal for a family wanting the beach.

Nice hotel close to the beach

Upon arrival I get a perfect room, but it had no privacy curtains. This problem was immediately solved by changing my room, to which it had a gorgeous beach view. Easy 1 min walk to the beach and restaurants. I really enjoyed the professionalism of reception and the fact that this place made me feel very comfortable.

Comme dit précédemment cet hôtel n'est pas un spa, ce qui était un prérequis à ma réservation. J'avais fait une recherche pour un hôtel spa à st jean de luz, et je me retrouve avec un hôtel qui n'est pas spa et qui n'est pas à st jean de luz. Vous devez supprimer cet hôtel de la liste des spa, si ce n'est pas déjà fait.

Fint hotell med rene og romslige rom. Sengene var noe harde, og ikke så komfortable. Frokosten var bra, og trivelig betjening med god service. Grei beliggenhet i Hendaye.
