Staff was kind and helpful. Building needs some work.

I loved the location of this hotel! It's a 20 minute bus ride from the Amsterdam central train station and just a 5 minute walk from the bus stop. You can easily walk to the less touristy and beautiful Jordaan area from the hotel! There's also a reliable and affordable airport bus right around the corner from the hotel. It's a charming old hotel which has very thin walls so if you're a light sleeper like me, you may be disturbed by your neighbour's cough, snoring,etc.

A wonderful surprise, this boutique hotel was a great place to stay while visiting Amsterdam. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The rooms cozy and comfortable after a day on the town. It was quiet, good for a nap while recovering from jet lag. The location is great, close to interesting streets of restaurants, the main museums and the trams for visiting the rest of Amsterdam.

Wonderful, friendly staff! Great location - close to a great park, excellent breakfast nearby for pancakes, near public transportation, close to museums, short walk to the canal, etc. The rooms were small and not modern at all, and our shower left quite a wet spot on the bathroom floor. However, we did not mind this, rather I mention this to travelers seeking modern amenities. There was a cat that lived in the lobby (I think his name was "Percy"). We loved that there was a house cat in this hotel. Would stay here again because the staff was amazing and there's a cat!

We loved everything about our stay at the Owl Hotel. It is a lovely boutique hotel in a great neighborhood. Easy walk to museums including Van Gogh, bars, restaurants, trams and canal cruises. Very lovely courtyard in the back. Breakfast was available though I didn’t eat there. A bar available for a night cap at the end of the day. And all the staff were friendly and helpful. I hope I have the opportunity to stay at the Owl again someday

Great location. Clean and well maintained. My only recommendation is fans in the rooms would be nice to help move the air around at night because you can’t keep the windows open due to people walking down the street talking all night.

Amazing stay!

Wonderful welcoming staff including their laid back gray cat Basil. Beware of stairs to enter the building but there is a small lift to get up to rooms. Rooms are small, no AC. Windows do open for a nice breeze. Breakfast was very good. I especially enjoyed the croissants. Lovely area.

The room was small, the shower leaked onto the floor and it was very hot in the room with no fan or AC.

Convenient location. Hotel is visibly on the older side, elevator was broken on the last night of our stay. However, big thanks to front desk for helping us with our luggage. Not sure how to feel about the whole dropping off room key system. They require you to leave and then ask for your room key back at the reception when leaving/returning to the hotel.

Easy walking distance to all the museums and shops. A nice, clean, quiet place to stay

This is a very pleasant, small, older hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable and clean. It is on a pretty street, close to Vondelpark, the Van Gogh museum, and the Rijksmuseum, and easily walkable to central Amsterdam. I also appreciated that it was very quiet. Like many older European hotels, the room was quite small for two people -- the two twin beds were pushed together like a king-size bed, and there was very little space for unpacking. So that is a thing to keep in mind, but the hotel itself was lovely, and I was glad we stayed there.

This is a charming hotel located in a lovely neighborhood within easy walking distance of the city center. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was small but adequate, and quiet for the most part, with window overlooking a small courtyard. The lounge/breakfast area and courtyard were inviting, and though we did not purchase the breakfast, it looked and smelled good! Definitely recommend this hotel!

Owl hotel’s staff is excellent, they were very helpful when we had asked questions. The hotel is very charming, very clean. Breakfast was always delicious. I would recommend anyone to stay there

Staff very friendly and helpful. Gave easy understandable directions to ride bus to airport. We really enjoyed relaxing in the outdoor patio as well as the great breakfast. Older Hotel but quaint and in a good location to walk to museums, park and restaurants.

The hotel is in a great location for exploring the museum quarter, the staff are courteous and helpful, the room/bathroom was very clean and the breakfast room had a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere.
