Arrived to some kind of rave going on, not what I was looking for in my relaxing evening stay, after checking in my room had no air conditioning and where it had been left with the windows closed and the curtains wide open it was around 40 degrees inside. I came down later in the evening and was told the bar from the rave was now closed. I wanted a cool coca cola and was told although the bar was literally there and the staff were all still here, that it was impossible to serve me a drink, despite the hot as hell room and no aircon. Hot Uncomfortable and horrible staff service. I could never advise anyone to stay here.

My room was lovely and clean. The bed was comfortable and breakfast and evening meal were lovely. Parking is free and easy and the staff are very helpful.

Bed was amazing got a great nights sleep. Quiet grounds peaceful a lovely relaxing weekend stay. Didn’t try the food as I was visiting friends in the area. I would stay here again if I was in the area

Good hotel for the money. Clean and spacious rooms ample parking

Breakfast was limited and not enough choice of cereals or fruit. No HOT water for a cup of tea. Tepid out of the coffee machine. No bin or any facilities to put tea bags or empty cereal boxes. Room was very spacious and clean which as it was the signsture suit was what I expected. A fridge in the room would have been useful and a safe.

Wonderful hotel with wonderful staff

Doing an event in Bedford so stayed the night before. Very convenient location close to Bedford, very clean and excellent value for money. Staff were efficient and friendly. Even though there was a wedding with an evening DJ we had a room at the back of the hotel and were not disturbed by the disco. Great pub less than 10 minute walk away.

I didnt find the staff to be welcoming and taking interest in the customers. Next time when I book, I wouldn't expect anything from them.

Great stay. Good food and beer. Helen was really friendly and helpful.

Characterful Hotel in lovely grounds, we stayed in the out building which was spacious and quiet. Room was clean and tidy and so was bathroom. Shower was warm with good pressure, our only concern was the floor tiles got very slippery when wet, care had to be taken! The full English Breakfast was excellent and service was very good. Would certainly recommend this hotel to friends and family.
