Nice rooms. Free breakfast from the restaurant was cooked fresh and was quite good. Better than the typical continental breakfast buffet you see in most hotels.

Nice hotel.

Sadly the soundproofing is nonexistent, you can hear the people in the opposite rooms and whoever is in the hallway very clearly. The rooms and hotel are very clean, however the bar & grill restaurant has an unpleasant basement smell to it. The hotel and restaurant staff were amazing! They were friendly and had no issues making changes when asked, nor was there a fuss when I had asked for more pillows and towels. Check-in and check-out were quite easy and there is tons of parking available.

The room's cleanliness was acceptable but when two bugs crawled up the duvet cover and the other was under my pillow, that put both my husband and I over the top! These were not small bugs either. What started it was the fact that our checking in was delayed by 20 minutes because the room had yet to be cleaned! Had this been the only thing it would have been acceptable but combined with the bugs on/in the bed, as I said, it put us over the top!!! I had read, in the reviews, about bugs but decided to give the hotel a chance since it is a well known chain, I should have known better! I do expect a full refund for our stay and a call from the management. Photo of the bugs to follow

This hotel is quiet and comfortable. The building and decor are a bit dated but it doesn’t look run down. Comfortable beds and easy self-parking.

Everything was perfect. Great staff Great room service. Also 1274Bar and Grill was perfect.

Stayed here while husband was admitted to Civic Hospital. Very close to hospital. Room was clean Property is dated by otherwise fine. Staff was very accommodating and make sure to set up raised toilet seat and grab bar in shower for husband to use when he was discharged from hospital as we had to stay overnight before heading home.

Why have early online check-in when I have to do everything again, in-person? What a waste of time.

It was okay, room was clean. However, the room temperature could only be set to limited setting which is on a warmer setting and couldn't set to a cooler setting.

Good hotel for meetings in Ottawa, especially if you're travelling within the city using your own auto. Driving from the hotel to locations in the city is easy and convenient. The restaurant in the hotel serves excellent food. The rooms are clean and the staff are very attentive.
