Great hot springs indoor and out plus sauna, room spacious, well equipped, comfortable bed. Evening meal at the Asian Fusion restaurant was a language challenge but staff were very helpful. Good location but obviously out of town and away from othef amenities.

Room service is good, and provide adequate goods like toothbrush, footwear etc., restaurants are good too, just suggest one more time slot for free shuttle at the evening. Nice experience overall at Freshfields in our 3 days 2 nights short stay.

it is probably a good place if you are not considering to go out of the hotel for a few days and enjoy the services offered inside. The photos from the hotel appear to be out of date. The actual condition of the hotel is not as optimal as it looks on the pictures. There are not enough power outputs in the room to charge devices, the bathtubs are sort of clean but things are breaking due to poor maintenance. The wooden spoon for the bathtub was cracked, the water drainer or stopper was not properly attached to the chain which made it difficult to drain the water. Small things like that which could be improved. Nevertheless, the experience was acceptable if you visit with the family and are thinking about enjoying the buffets and other services offered in the hotel. The location is remote so perhaps not for tourists but for locals who want to enjoy time away from the routine.

We had an amazing family trip at Freshfields Hotel. The kids club and outdoor play areas kept our toddlers happily occupied for hours. One minor nitpick: the on-site restaurants (and room service) say they close at 9PM, but they actually stop taking orders at 8:20PM, so make sure you get your order in early if you want to eat in. Alternatively, there are two great night markets within a few minutes drive. That's what we did when we missed last call, and it ended up being a happy accident.

The room is clean. The staff are nice. The hot spring pools are nice. However, we had an incident that the person delivered the complementary fruits to the room did not close our room door tightly.

Good hotel staff and enjoyed our stay there, could be more convenient if we can find more restaurants in the surrounding area.

Very nice facility and very good service at reasonable prices. The property is not in a shopping area but the location is quiet and serene. Room service met is sup-par by USA or Japanese standards.

Hugh bathroom with private hot spring. However, lack of sitting area or a proper desk nor table for dining. Staff was helpful. Public hot spring needs some upgrades in the sitting area.

It is quite different than my last stay.

Property is remote but quiet. Staff are not friendly and unhelpful. They allow kids swimming, diving, eating and drinking inside the spa or hot spring. Not a quiet place to relax. When complaint to front desk, they to you to complaint to the staff at the spa. Design of room was poor. You have to walk at least five to six steps before you can get your towel.

Everything is excellent but food quality is just average

When I arrived, the front desk staff were more interested with an ongoing call that one of the staff is having. From what I heard, he was having an "argument" with the person who was demanding for a room but he just kept telling the person the hotel is full. The rest of the staff has an indifferent and nonchalant attitude. The room is good and spa service staff were all very proactive and friendly.

Hotel has hot spring water in room in addition to the public hot spring spa area. Massage service was good also. Breakfast had good selections. Will stay here again.
