Room was spacious, quiet and clean. The bed was very comfortable. But there were no coffee/tea making facilities in the room. You could buy drinks and snacks at reception, but it seems petty to charge paying guests for a cup of tea. Only when I was leaving did the receptionist tell me that you could borrow a kettle from the reception. Why was this not mentioned when I checked in? The carpet on the stairs and on the landing looked quite shabby.

Staff was really nice and helpful, hotel could do with some tlc. Overall not thr most luxurious hotel but had a little mini fridge which was nice, close to the train station and breakfast was alright.

Hotel is located next to the train station and has plenty of restaurants to choose from.

Rooms were clean, modern and spacious. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Ate out during the evening so cannot comment on the restaurant other than breakfast, which was good overall.

Shower is broken and they haven’t done any thing about it, tv doesn’t work and dirty floors. Very expensive for dive hotel. Nice staff at least..

the only hotel in centre of town and close to railway station so convenient for Helsinki . Staff are always very friendly and helpful. . rooms perfect for a long weekend stay . Hopefully things dont change much now that they have just been acquired by Scandic Hotels

Just stayed 1-night for business trip and everything was fine. Friendly staff

Great location about a minute away from the central train station. Helpful, accommodating staff, too. My only grips was the rather spartan breakfast, even on a weekend when the hotel was fully-booked. There was bacon, some scrambled eggs make from a powder, obviously with too much water added in in order to maximize the volume for their money, yogurt, bread and butter, some packaged meats, cucumber and ice cold tomato, some Karelian pastries. Might sound like a lot but if you've stayed at comparably-priced hotels in the Nordics you expect a little bit more. The room was nice, air-conditioned in the summer, with blackout curtains that really do make the room almost completely dark. Some sound bleed through the ventilation system, but whether that bothers you depends a lot on who your neighbors are, I guess.

Hotel has lots of positive points except one very bad point. Designated hotel parking spaces are only limited to approx. 15 without any restrictions. All others near or adjacant to hotel are generally limited parking hours depending on time of day such as 2 or 3hrs if day time or free parking may be if after 6 or 7pm in evening until may be 0800hrs following morning as these are public. As s business traveller & working 11or 12hrs days whilst staying at the hotel, this subject became very very frustrating at the end of each working day. Driving from car park to car park for space availability is not the ideal for a hotel guest at end of each day. Restaurant, Breakfast, room and reception otherwise excellent. ......JC

This was my 5th stay at this hotel. And as usual I had great service, very clean rooms and friendly personnel. And even this is the only hotel in town I would not go to others if there was a choice. Also, located in the center of the town, you are in short walking distance to shops, restaurants, and cafes. Add good restaurant with free breakfast and sauna with fitness center. Your business trip will be more pleasant if you stay at this hotel.
