Good place to stay.

Room good size and clean. Could do with two bedside lamps rather than one. Extractor fan clunking noise when on. Room next door were noisy at night, so soundproofing would be good. Construction work started in next room before 0800 to change window.. Didn't need an alarm clock.

Room was nice although a slight leak from the bathroom basin onto the counter surface. On the Sunday evening called in for a drink at 10 p.m. at bar to be told that the bar was shutting up at 10.30 promptly which was a little disappointing (assumed there would be 20 mins drinking up time as is generally the case in pubs). Breakfast was ok but choice of cereal had run out with an hour of the breakfast service to go with no replacement available.

Staff services immaculate, food 10/10 stayed in number 2 hardly any noises, slept really brilliant. Felt safe to sleep at. Good weekend overall. Would definitely recommend and be back.

I was staying at the Inn where I was to celebrate my 80th Birthday Party with my family. The staff were very attentive and the food was excellent. I will attach a view from my window, my full English breakfast, and my birthday cake.

Staff were really friendly and welcoming. There is a warm atmosphere when arriving.

The room was very clean and spacious. The food was very good and the decor throughout was very attractive. The staff were all very friendly and efficient.

Last minute decision to stay whilst travelling from Devon to Scotland. What a wonderful, welcoming place. Food was fantastic in the pub area. Room was spacious and very comfortable. Highly recommend. Will stay at The Derby Arms again.

We had a nice weekend stay. Friendly staff , especially Matt.

We stayed here for a nearby wedding. We had a family room which was really spacious with a lovely, and again spacious, ensuite bathroom with bath and shower. Staff were really friendly and we had a great night's sleep. We paid for cooked breakfast which was made to order and also included some self serve cereals. If we were in the area longer we would have loved to have a drink in the bar area and try the food.

Lovely stay at this pub. Evening meal and breakfast were fantastic, rooms really good and staff lovely.

The room was a little below par with chunks of plaster coming off the ceilings in the bedroom and bathroom, a mirror had been removed from the bedroom some time ago you could tell as the paint underneath was a different colour to the rest of the room which really brought the standard down. On reflection the food was over priced for what you recieved, and in my opinion wasnt worth it, £16.95 for a chicken burger and a few fries - see pic
