I had a lovely stay at the Riad Awa , the staff was exception ( they go above and beyond for their guests ), the Riad is located in the edge of the kabash , everything is within walking distance (restaurants , attractions , access to taxis ) . It is a nice quiet oasis away from the hustle of the city . If I ever go back to Marrakesh , I will stay here again .

Riad Awa is a lovely traditional building and very peaceful amidst the chaos of Marrakech and the staff are very helpful. The decor is starting to look a bit tired and could do with some tlc.

Rooms are a bit tired but clean enough. Take a padlock. I did not appreciate returning to Riad after an afternoon out to see the door and windows to my room on the G floor left wide open with all my bags etc easily on display. Not good. Ground floor rooms are noisy as you get woken by the staff screeching and playing on phones in the kitchen making breakfast. Ruins the ambience. Wouldn’t stay again.

Lovely Riad in a quiet but convenient location. The room was large and had a lovely decor but no padlocks available for the rooms and no option to choose your own safe code. Breakfast options were limited and only available at 9am - yogurt and bread with jams. WiFi was very poor and didn’t work at all in the room. Nothing was explained when we checked in - eg when breakfast was, or how to access the Riad (they preferred us to use the doorbell rather than knock if we returned late to avoid waking other guests, which is reasonable but helpful to be told this first). Maybe a little print out guide in a few languages would be helpful

Love this location as it was close to the entrance of the medina so getting a taxi with all our luggage was easy inconvenient and we didn’t have to walk a long way at all to get our things to this Medina. The staff was friendly. The rooms were really comfortable and we couldn’t be happier with or stay there. One of the reviews said there were no locks on the outside of the door, which is true but they do provide a padlock with key and it’s so safe that I wouldn’t even worry about that. Would highly recommend this place.

Iv stayed here before and as always staff are excellent and very kind people. Although the riad is beautiful they do need to deep clean it including light shades lamps and curtains as they were very dusty. A different washing powder and less of it should be used to wash sheets as the one they have makes the bedding smell. Tissues and handwash was not replenished when needed or asked for. Breakfast was the same everyday consisting of bread choco pain jam and butter, tea and coffee. This needs to be reviewed. The riad and customers would benefit from an evening meal being offered at a cost as food in the medina is very poor.

We stayed in the exclusive suite. Beautiful decor - lots of space - large bathroom and Superking bed The only issue was noise. The room is beneath the rooftop pool and the noise from the pool circulation pump was dreadful - it was normally switched on around breakfast time until around 6pm - but on one occasion was switched on at 7am making sleep impossible. Not a relaxing place to be during the daytime We were there 4 days and one day the pool was being refilled and, again, the noise from this was unbearable when in the room There was also street noise until around midnight though, to be honest, we had expected that The drench shower was not working when we arrived and took 2 days to repair. We were offered use of the staff facilities whilst waiting repair but chose to muddle through with the handheld shower Breakfast was lovely and location was good - about 10 min walk to Place Djemaa El Fna

Lovely Riad, matches the whole vibe of Marrakesh. Room was comfortable and spacious. The upstairs balcony was lovely and had a pool and benches for sunbathing. Staff were lovely and very accommodating and there was breakfast included every morning when you were ready. Only thing I would mention is the hot water ran out quite quickly, it’s fine if you go during summer but during March, it can be a little chilly.

Road Awa is lovely, it's beautifully designed and presented. The only negative feedback is the acoustics made me feel a bit awkward. It's very quiet. In the room there were gaps around windows and cupboard doors didn't fit in frames so didn't provide any soundproofing buffer. Given that people breakfasted just outside my window it felt a bit weird. Also, the call to prayer was very loud at 4 and5am. I think some small adjustments woule make all the difference.

As it was our first time staying at a Riad we really weren't sure what to expect however staying a Riad Awa was an absolute pleasure. Staff were always very friendly and accommodating towards us. At short notice they allowed us to change breakfast times due to excursions. The room was tended to daily with fresh towels etc Tea was also on offer whenever you fancied it with no bill thrown at you afterwards The Riad itself was exceptionally clean tidy and peaceful with the only one regret that the weather wasn't good enough for us to enjoy the sun on the roof. Location wise I genuinely think we were perfectly placed surrounded with popular cafes and the mosque that just so happens to be a very popular places for a pick up point when it comes to excursions. There was around a 10-15min walk to the main square leading towards the souks with ATMS and cafes on route and also thinking about it were mostly away from the hustle & bustle of the main square which was quite nice as it can get a little intense near the square at times. I would highly recommend staying at Riad Awa and would definitely return to this Riad if we were to return in the future

Amazing staff!! Everyone was so friendly and accommodating, truly felt like home for the week!! The location made it so easy to walk into the main square of the city but was in a nice and quiet area. 10/10 recommend this Riad in Marrakech.

A small intimate riad that was perfect for an anniversary trip. We were well liked after for meals and amenities, including an authentic hammam and massage and a lovely rooftop terrace to lounge in.

First, staying at the Riad places you in the middle of Marrakech madness, but the Riad Awa is a delight recluse from the chaos. It is cool, quiet, and seemingly teleports you to another place. Only 6 rooms, it is pleasantly small but the rooms are set over two floors encircling an interior courtyard.
