Seriously not worth money i paid so disappointed not half as nice as it looks on here and other pics I'd seen before arriving!

Great stay. Parking was a bit of a walk away

This hotel saved us from the heat with the well working A/C. It is about a ten minute walk from the Oxford City Center. There are not many bars or restaurants nearby. The property is a couple of different 2 story dwellings. It is in good condition and clean. The walls are VERY thin, but still a pleasant stay.

I booked this property expecting a genuine 4-star standard, but unfortunately it fell far short of that expectation. Both our room and the annex house were extremely dated, shabby, and noticeably worn throughout. The accommodation felt more like a room in a private house than a 4-star hotel. There were numerous issues during our stay, including inconsistent hot water, very old and tired bathrooms, creaky floors, and worn walls, furnishings, and bed linen. The overall condition of the property suggested it has not been modernised or maintained to the standard advertised. The layout also makes the property unsuitable for guests with mobility issues, something that should be made clearer before booking. Given the condition of the accommodation and the facilities provided, I believe the price charged was excessive and did not represent good value for money. I feel the property was misrepresented by its 4-star rating and the expectations created by the listing. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again or recommend it to others.

Very nice. Ac was not up to par for a warm day. Not easy with luggage and checking in at the cafe and then staying across the road. Parking is very limited. Breakfast was nice. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Small boutique hotel, very friendly and well-run. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Housekeeping staff also very diligent and professional. Close to everything in Oxford but on a fairly quiet side street without much traffic noise. Great experience!

It is the most terrible experience how long in my life so far to stay in such a hotel! There are a lot of terrible and disgusting bugs in the room. The bed is moldy and seems it has not been used for some years! I have to ask for refund and this is sure for NOT staying!

Staff were very helpful and friendly, room was clean and wonderfully cool, tea and coffee making facilities plus a fridge are always a bonus! Ten minute walk to the centre, and very quiet area which mostly has family homes surrounding so felt very calm and safe. Would happily stay again :)

This hotel is tucked in a quiet neighborhood in Oxford, close to walking to city center. Rooms are in a few different buildings (former flats, I am assuming), so not a traditional type of hotel.

The staff are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great. Parking was a bit difficult as there was very limited space to manoeuvre due to the tight residential area in which the hotel is situated. Our room was comfortable but the bathroom door was not fitted properly (hanging off the top hinge) and didn't close. The hall and stair cases in the building where our room was located were in need of a good clean although it did have a new stair carpet. The exposed wiring to the fire alarm outside our room was not very professionally completed. Having said all that we had an enjoyable stay and found it very convenient for walking into the city centre each day so luckily we did not need to move our cars until we left.

Staff were ok but maintenance needs work no toilet brush or bags for sanitry items television not working did mention but still wasn't working by the time we left for the amount of money I paid would no stay again ☹️

My granddaughter had a very nice 2 day stay at the Ethos Hotel. It was conveniently located in Oxford. The room was small, but comfortable. A fan was provided because of the heat. Breakfast was served in the cafe across the street. Staff was friendly. We enjoyed our stay.

Very convoluted check-in experience. Took ages! Rooms dated and not well insulated against noise. Hairdryers in both rooms not working. Very self-service… even for a full-English breakfast that should have come as per menu. Parking is a faff! Won’t be back.

Great hotel location for the river and south end of the city. Residential location which keeps it a quiet area. We used the park and ride and it was a 5 min slow walk to the hotel. Cafe on opposite side of road where you check in has good food and great service.

Wonderful experience

Very cosy, clean, everyone that works there r friendly and helpful. David works so hard to accommodate the clients, Rose is so hospitable. We loved the cafe. It feels like home Its the neighborhood cafe. Very safe. Very close to Shops, restaurants and the university of Oxford.

Clean, comfortable air conditioned room! Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was tasty and included with my rate. It was within walking distance to all the places I needed to get to in central Oxford. I would stay again and recommend the Ethos hotel!

Staff were excellent & extremely helpful. Good location for a walk into town.
