Everything stood out. From the friendly staff to the perfect accommodation to the amazing 5 ⭐️ food, pure luxury

Stayed in the superior suite (London Rd no3), and although the hotel was lovely I found hairs all over the bath, the mattress and the pillows. When I pulled back sheet on the bed there were crumbs over the sheet and a dead insect. I also found urine stains on the mattress. The fridge also had stagnant water in and smelled really strongly of fish every time it was opened. When I emailed the general manager he took a week to respond and simply offered 25% off a return stay. Unfortunately I would not stay here again due to the cleanliness. As this was a £600 a night room I was really disappointed.

A wonderful stay at the beautiful hotel. The room was fabulous. The hotel was Lovely and the restaurant was perfect. Food was delicious. Would highly recommend.

I had a lovely stay at the Wild Thyme and Honey. However I purchased the room with the prviate bath, unfortunatley there was a leak from the bath and we had to escalate this to the staff at 21:00pm. Informed the staff of this and still waiting for a reply to discuss the compensation.

Homely and quality

3rd time here, will come again. Food great, room gorgeous, fire places always lit. What more do you need?

Hotel was ok. Rooms were not sound proved at all. Rustic and cute as expected. Nice touches. Service was ok - a bit unfriendly & rushed. Dinner quality was nice, service was miserable. Breakfast was ok, selection at buffet was nice but hot full English was nothing special. Was not hot. Eggs solid etc. not awful but not great.

Really cute room, wonderful staff - super helpful. Cowshed products. Proper luxury. Food was great inc breakfast. No slippers/robes in the room which was a let down but other than that - would come back 100%.

I cannot recommend this place enough. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The room was spotless and the hotel had a beautiful atmosphere and delicious food. I’m already trying to plan my next stay! Definitely the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at.

Staff were super nice The hotel and restaurant decor are beautiful. But there are cobwebs on the walls and picture frames. You get asked what tea you want for the room but the ones we asked for weren’t there. The pantry is a great idea but there was only sparking water in there

staff were lovely and very helpful especially Michael on reception I noticed on other reviews some people complained about the pillows I have to agree with this it seems churlish to complain about an otherwise lovely stay breakfasts were very good with lots of choice all in all a good place to stay

The most amazing small hotel in the Cotswolds- epic

Loved the roll top bath next to the bed and the little touches like a small bottle of milk delivered in the morning. Staff, food and who atmosphere was outstanding

Had a fantastic day really enjoyed everything about the place. We definitely recommend this to anyone looking to visit the Cotswolds.

All good. There was a wedding reception in the hotel, but they upgraded us to a riverside room and we didn’t hear a thing!

Nice restaurant and hotel had quirky and nice rooms, with areas outside for sitting by the fire. Stayed for one night and was perfect
