The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly, when checking in. The room was very well kitted out, with a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, cutlery, crockery, hairdryer, etc. will be booking again.

Great staff, but the room was cold and it wasn’t very clean (the carpet was filthy). Staff helped by supplying a plug-in heater (room heating had broken) and this helped but the floor was still too cold to stand on for long!

The room was spacious and had more amenities than a standard hotel room. However, the room felt tired and in need of a refresh, and wasn't entirely clean, particularly in the bathroom. The property is well located for Jesmond and the city centre and felt safe enough, with free parking a big bonus. Check-in at the hotel next door was easy. The room was spacious and had all described amenities, and the bed was comfortable and clean. However, carpets, sofa, bathroom flooring all looked visibly tired and the bathroom had significant dust, which did not change when cleaners visited during our stay. Additionally, the kettle was in poor condition (badly scaled). Lastly, the hand soap and shower gel had clearly been topped up with water, possibly multiple times, and were therefore unusable. This was very disappointing, as toiletries are supposed to be included and this made showering difficult. I have never had this at any hotel I've stayed in before and I don't think this is acceptable practice. Overall, the space is good, feels secure and is well located, but the condition of the room, particularly the bathroom, is poor.

Several things in the apartments were broken. Door to one of the cupboards, cracked floor tile. Didn’t cause me a problem but the place felt a little unloved

Check in (once I located the instructions) was easy and straight forward, next door at the Holiday Inn. Access to the building is via a few steps up and a door code. Once inside (we stayed on the top floor) there were four flights of stairs to traverse and no lift. Those with accessibility needs would need a ground floor room. The room was spacious and well laid out, although ventilation in the bathroom was a bit lacking which gave the whole place a slightly damp feel/smell. The bed is huge, however the mattress and pillows were not the best. We struggled to get comfortable and sleep well. The noise from the traffic below is very loud, even with the windows closed. The curtains don’t block all light either, which impacted upon sleep (it would be advisable to bring a sleep mask and earplugs). The carpet and sofa in the living area were stained and sticky, unfortunately. The TV worked fine and the ‘kitchenette’ (a wardrobe/dresser with kettle, microwave, mini fridge, mini dishwasher, glasses, and cutlery) was a nice addition. Having a small light inside would help as it’s quite dark. The bathroom was well appointed. Several light switches in the room did not work, and during our stay the bathroom light switch got stuck in the ON position and took awhile to fix. Overall an average stay but we would not book again, especially for the price.

Check in process at the hotel was quick and easy and the apartment was really nice. Location really convenient, most places are walkable but right next to the metro if not. Would definitely return

The two apartments were in different buildings, next door to each other. Both apartments were up 4 flights of stairs- hard for older people, and difficult for those with big suitcases. We have stayed a few times, and wear and tear shows. We also did not have enough cutlery/ silverware, only 2 sets.

Property was immaculate and everything you would need for a stay. We were on the ground floor at the back however there was a generator at the back of our room on the wall outside that was on all night quite loud so found it difficult to sleep.

We arrived to check in at the Holiday Inn next door where we were informed there was an issue with our booking. Eventually we were told that we had been moved to the hotel and we were given a room each. The reception staff at Holiday Inn were excellent. The communication from 91 Aparthotel was terrible, we were not informed that our booking had been moved to the hotel and had to find out on the day.

The apartment was great, conveniently located for Newcastle City Center (within a short walk, or short hop on the Metro), Jesmond Metro station and restaurants and cafes in the local area. Check in via the adjacent Holiday Inn was quick and efficient and access to parking (free with the apartment!) was easy. One minor gripe - when we set the sofa bed up, the mattress was dirty, covered in dust and food crumbs from the previous stay. Otherwise the apartment is comfortable and in a good location. Would stay again.

The property is filthy- seats etc covered in stains of unmentionable. Kitchen unit broken doors, fridge racks covered in sticky stuff. Room is is also dangerous, we had to reset the electric fuse box every time we returned to the room in order to reset electric supply to the plugs and stove. Room is in the attic top of 8 flights of stairs (no lift)- no fire escape. I'm surprised it passes health and safety requirements. We did tell hotel management and they offered to help us move for the second night into an attic room in the adjoining building. We declined as couldn't face the move after a busy day of work. It's cheap but I wouldn't stay there again nor recommend due to safety concerns and filthy upholstery.
