We have always stayed at the Hotel Isabel for the past 5-6 years. We have two dogs, enjoyed the convenience and dog friendly atmosphere. Last time we were there we were concerned with the restaurant. This time is was HORRIBLE. It was obvious why there were no patrons. There were no beverages but soda, no wine, no coffee and no alcoholic beverages. We only had water for dinner. The food came COLD. I mean my rice, vegetables and shrimp were cold. They were not freshly prepared and tasted terrible. We noticed the one other table in the restaurant returned their pizza because it was cold. The waiter did nothing but laugh at his phone. We did not even have silverware and had to ask for it after our meals came. There are NO other restaurants in the area and we would have been required to drive a distance to find a meal. After all of these years. We will not be returning to the HOtel Isabel.

Realizamos un viaje entre amigas (5 personas) y fue una gran opción para hospedarnos ya que nos permitió quedarnos a todas en la misma habitación. El personal del hotel siempre muy amable. Las instalaciones están en buenas condiciones, es una construcción que ya tiene algunos años pero se nota el mantenimiento.

Horrible place! One word: bedbugs

The room was dirty, poor water pressure, the bathroom water smelt like sewer, there was an empty can of beer under the bed that didn’t belong to us. Room was infested with roaches. The bed and pillows very uncomfortable, the bedding had grey hair everywhere and the towels were stained. There’s a coffee machine but no coffee—not even complimentary water. Both mornings they were out of cappuccinos. Awful service, dirty rooms, sewer smelling water that made us feel dirty even after showering. Will never stay there again.

I didn't get an airport shuttle. Clean room over all. Friendly stay. Good quality for fair price.

The room was clean and well temperature-controlled. The attached room deck was spacious and the entry very secure.2 minor problems: 2nd night we were locked out because the desk had under-charged us (turned out to be correct, but another way to handle it?) The room safe did not work. It was promptly replaced with another that could not have the combination re-set from "1-2-3" because they did not have an override key in case of lost combination. The place was very safe and housekeeping staff very helpful and seemed trustworthy, but nonetheless...not really as promised.

Hotel is good. Room floors were dirty. Bathroom has your typical mexico sewer smell. You pay for breakfast. Location was not the greatest, however parking is within the property which was a plus. The only reason I wouldn’t stay there is the internet. No TV or internet service. They provide wifi, yet it was slow and or no signal at all.

The hotel is nothing like it appears to be in the photos. It’s old, it looks more like a motel, the location is inconvenient, not a walkable neighborhood, and the price does not match the value. The staff is kind and helpful, (although they charge extra for coffee), but the place is really disappointing. My room’s view was a dump, with rubble piled up, and a parking lot. It’s noisy when cars come in. The room was clean but a smell was lingering and didn’t go away. The decoration and the lights are depressing. The restaurant has very good prices and the servings are abundant. So it’s not all bad, but it’s not what I was expecting.

The Hotel is in a good area, close to Chapultepec Avenue and public transportation.

Staff were very friendly. Cleaning staff were helpful and the room was clean.

The cuality of the hotel going down, no water pressure in the shower, the size of the shower room too Small the floor slippery un unsafe, the windows without lacking function properly, the night staff too young to solve serious problems With olders customers drinking and disturbing at late night, you have to inspect the room yourself for cleaning when you receive the room of the room, they make me feel unwelcome since the beginning. I don't recommend this hotel at all

The rooms are clean and nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was very convenient; short walk to restaurants, a Soriana, and an art museum.

The free breakfast stated in my booking wasn't offered at the counter or at the restaurant. The location is not that good. The staff wasn't friendly. Otherwise, it's a fair accomodation.
