Really great hotel. Everything was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were extremely helpful and kind throughout our stay. The rooms were very comfortable, and nothing was too much trouble when we needed assistance. The breakfast was excellent with a great selection. Overall, a wonderful experience and I would happily stay here again.

Great location, everything walkable. The view on the river is spectacular. The presentation of everything is high quality. The staff are well trained and helpful, also inquisitive about you in an non-invasive way. The room was spotlessly clean, wifi was strong. I was there for work and was able to connect my computer to the television for a wide second screen. I marked it down one star because there was an additional charge to use the sauna and steam room. There was a €12 overnight parking fee too, but I parked below near the river in the public car park over night for free. But it all other respects this is a strong experience for either business or leisure travel.

It was close to downtown. We were on the main floor so would have gotten a room on a higher floor. A little noisy for us even around 11pm.

Decent place to lay your head

The staff are lovely. Always helpful and kind. Breakfast is a little chaotic if too many people arrive at once. Dinner in the North restaurant was fine. The waiter was excellent. My haddock special was superb but my wife’s chicken came undercooked, twice. There is no excuse for that. The maintenance team need to do some work in the room to fix a few faults, which I did mention to reception. Overall I was happy with my stay.

Good location, comfortable room. A little loud at night, and the heat/air con can only be controlled by the front desk.

Great location and walkable to just about anything in the city. Just a few minutes walk to the river and all the restaurants right there. The receptionists were very pleasant and able to hold our bags until the official check in time (and even after checkout while waiting for our late departure from the city). Everything was excellent, thank you!

Nice fresh room with good size comfortable bed but very small shower room. The facilities are good and there is a car park at extra charge. Very central for Sligo. We did eat in the restaurant but did have a drink in the bar ( barman could have a little training in customer service nothing bad but a little blunt). I would recommend and will stay again.

Staff were lovely, breakfast was hot and tasty but limited continental breakfast Spa very enjoyable Walls paper thin didn’t get sleep on second night of stay due to a party in next room Smell in hallway outside our room like a sewer Car parking charged 12 euro extra per night This is an old building renovation to a hotel

Always very comfortable rooms

Helpful staff. Excellent service at breakfast - especially the waitress working on her own on Saturday- very efficient. Tea/ coffee station in reception to help yourself was appreciated. Very convenient for the town centre. Would have liked breakfast to be served until 10.30am on Easter Monday rather than 10am.
