Nice hotel, a bit dated. Rooms ok

The staff were lovely extremely helpful. The hotel does need a bit of an upgrade things like towels were clean but very worn and thin. Bring your own. Restaurant food was good and breakfast was traditional.

We stayed one night as we were going to Loch Katrine for a cruise on the Walter Scott. Our room was clean and comfortable. Tea coffee supplied. It was dated but for the amount we paid it was good. The hotel is quite large and seemed to cater for bus parties. There was a large function suite for the bus parties to dine in. We had breakfast and an evening meal. Our meal was very reasonably priced. The bar is well stocked. We managed to walk into Aberfoyle from the hotel along a path through woods which was lovely as bluebells were everywhere! All the staff were very pleasant .

Ideal base for lots of tourist attractions.

unwelcome greeting at reception, filthy stairway to room, didn't look as if sheets had been changed, lamp not working, leaking radiator in bathroom so no heat.

Pleasant staff - Anne on reception was very helpful in booking a table for us. Decent hotel, not expensive, good food.

Clean and lovely staff but very dated and like going back to the 70’s

Room smelled so fresh when we walked in, it was good size and very clean, a comfortable bed and buffet breakfast was nice next morning. All staff were lovely and friendly!! A lot of nice walks around.

The hotel needed serious updating, but was clean and good. The food was very good. Staffing was very pleasant and efficient. Very close to town, about a mile but on a charming paved path. The town was cute and close to Go Ape where my granddaughter and I zip lined. The town had a great restaurant. The hotel is very large and serves bus tours.

Fast, friendly check-in. Room was bright, spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was clean. The food in the restaurant was nice and there was enough to choose from the breakfast buffet in the morning. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

Love the walks in the area. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good. Only had B&B. The hotel is clean but could do with a complete uplift.
