we had such a wonderful time at the double tree , they are very attentive and go far and beyond to make customers happy, it was my 50th birthday and they decorated our room and brought an amenity for me to celebrate.

The hotel is very old, and it was not clean at all. My bathroom flooded when I showered..

Beach view was foggy and not clear because the windows were old and dirty Room smelled like pee We had one dull day without electricity and no hot water Needs renovation Pillows were horrible The chair in room was torn old and dirty The floor was dirty moldy and nasty , didn’t even feel safe to shower without flip flops Beds small even tho they advertise queen beds Very uncomfortable Rusty laugage stand / holder Needs renovation ASAP

Yes rooms are very old. Restaurant food very small portions and Quality not that good. Service bartenders were very good

El personal del hotel es muy atento y servicial, las instalaciones están limpias y la zona donde se ubica el hotel está céntrica, sin embargo, a varias áreas del hotel les vendría bien una remodelación pues ya son antiguas. Adicional, la playa que esta cruzando la calle no está limpia, por lo que fue necesario ir a una mas lejana para poder ir al mar.

The beach view was obstructed with dirty windows. The management staff was undertrained and was unable to process a credit card transaction for the New Years dinner. Plus the advanced payment for one night of the reservation. Which has NEVER happened before. I received an email demanding that I pay for the first night to hold the reservation made two prior.

Clean room👏 no hot water tho other wise excellent

Room and amenities

Our room was dirty, with visible dirt and sticky patches on the floor, grime on the walls and stained curtains. It also smelled overwhelmingingly like mildew. There was also a high pitch loud whistling sound all night from the wind outside so we did not sleep well.

I got a room at the 1st floor, I couldn’t sleep until 3am, they had loud music until 2:00 am , had to stand the noise now , of the chairs and tables when they were put away, the music came from I called front desk but they said hotel was booked, so couldn’t get a different room, next morning (Sunday) they gave me another room. The reason of my trip was to participate in a marathon Sunday morning, so I had to go running with only 2. Hours of sleep !!!

Parking is an issue. You need somebody from staff with a special key to operates the elevators from parking lot to front desk. If nobody is available you need to get your lugagge all the way thru the stairs. Looks like that the same person is the valet parking and bell boy

Excellent breakfast buffet! I enjoyed delicious Veracruz-style picadas with black beans, pork rinds, and red sauce, prepared by the cook; very artisanal, despite being in a hotel. I'd love to know her name to write it down, but I made sure to tip her well for her service. The entire restaurant staff also provided excellent service despite the crowded restaurant. Also my wife loved the front beach locations near the Historic down town.
