Unlike our first booking, this time our booked room was available and we were able to stay at Applause. It’s easy to tell why this is one of the top rated properties in Calgary. Rooms are extremely comfortable and modern, and well worth the price paid. If possible, I would recommend getting a rate without breakfast included. They are not staffing enough people in the restaurant for how busy it is and they just are too overwhelmed to provide a good service. We had better luck offsite.

The rooms were nice, but we were willing pay a little extra cause an order breakfast was included. Okay breakfast Friday morning, but very disorganized. Didn't seem to have any experience servers and not management to be seen. Good food. Satruday was more of the same tried twice to get in, many uncleared tables. Told there was a wait list but know one was called nor seat in the twenty minute waited. Not peak time either. Informed hotel staff at check out, who had to speak with supervisor to be provided with a 15 dollar voucher in return for the 60 dollar breakfast we didn't get.

I recently stayed at Applause Hotel Calgary Airport for two nights, and honestly, everything was great. The room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was very good, and the pool and overall facilities were well maintained. What really stood out, though, was the staff — especially Grace at the front desk(manager). She was incredibly kind, professional, and welcoming, and made the whole stay feel smooth and stress-free. You can really tell when someone enjoys what they do, and it makes a big difference. Overall, a fantastic experience from start to finish. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Calgary.

Hotel was nice. We were only there for a quick nap of 3 hours due to delays at the airport but Lucky was our shuttle driver and was amazing. Super helpful and lifted our heavy luggage and stroller while I held my sleeping daughter at midnight and again on our way back to the airport a few hours later. He alone was super professional, kind and very helpful.

Checked in late last night. Taran was so helpful on the desk and extremely pleasant to deal with. Our room was fabulous. The shuttle bus pickup was grestly appreciated. Would highly recommend. Regards Brenda Kirby
