Nice quaint old converted mansion into a period hotel in a quiet neighborhood of a small Alsacian town. Everything was done well with personal service and attention. An elevator is the only thing that would make it easier for older people and heavy luggage. Highly recommend for a unique experience back in time.

Quite an old property that was originally a home but mid 1800s. The owners have fitted this out in a very sympathetic way to the buildings heritage. Big rooms, high ceilings and ornate covings etc, furniture and fittings to suit. How they found all this stuff... heaven knows, but perfect.

The hotel needs a bit of refurbishment as the facilities are a bit outdated. The toilet and shower was leaking. The heater was noisy. And the room has a bit of weird smell. I didn't feel clean and comfortable there. The owner and staffs were friendly in general.

Friendly, helpful staff, the hotel is decorated in an elegant, tasteful style.

This historic building is very easy to find and within walking distance of town. Friendly staff, beautiful room with balcony overlooking the estate. Paintings and art displayed everywhere. Buffet breakfast was very good too.

We stayed there for a couple of nights while visiting family nearby. The experience was delightful, starting with the setting and architecture of the building. The owners had managed to restore the elegance of old times with modern amenities and artwork. The owner was very welcoming.

This hotel is like a castle. Vey nice but don't think of carying your laggage 2 floors up in the stairs.

We chose this hotel for one night of our 2 week trip through Europe. It was the least expensive of all, yet by far the most classy, plush, and beautiful!! We LOVED our stay here! I will gladly stay here for extended future trips! The hotel staff and management went above and beyond in kindness and help. They helped carry our bags to our rooms, called ahead to a local restaurant to check on reservations, they were extremely helpful. AND they spoke English for those in our party who didn't speak French. The rooms are huge! They are BEAUTIFUL and the beds are very comfortable. They have so many fine details and finishing touches (even ribbons tied to each hanger in the armoir!) The balcony was very big with a beautiful view of the garden in the back. We were there on a Tues night and they offer a Jazz concert on the main floor which sounded AMAZING, although we already had prior plans. I HIGHLY recommend this CHATEAUX for an exceptional French culture experience!!!

The outside of this hotel looks stunning, and very grand, however when you step inside it is very unorganised, with clutter everywhere. Even in the grand conservatory room the owner had set up and was doing his paperwork, which you had to walk around. There were art pieces on the wall, which did not reflect the beauty of the building and somewhat spoilt the whole affect. Breakfast was extra and expensive per person, so we did not bother. Our room was on the top floor, and there is no lift. There is also no air conditioning or fan, and it was a very hot night. Needless to say we did not get any sleep and had to keep taking cold showers to cool down because of no air. It is a shame as from outside it looks lovely, but such a disappointment when you step inside. Also the grounds of the hotel was a mess, desperately needing a gardener to tidy it.

Besutiful hotel to stay when travrlling the wine region. The rooms were tasteful. In the evening they had a jazz trio playing in the bar which we enjoyed with fantastic wine and little food. Definitely recommend!

Very friendly wth a loverly ambiance.could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable.this is a real gem. Give it a go.

This hotel positively surprised us in all ways. It is an old estate combined with a big collection of contemporary art. The value for money is unbeatable, in a lot of similar hotels you would be paying 2X 3X more. The staff is also very helpful and nice always willing to help. Even though there is a lot of paintings and other art objects in the hotel it is not overdone.

I stayed at this hotel for three nights, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. From the moment we arrived, the lack of a warm welcome set the tone for our stay. The breakfast was of very poor quality. Overall, the lack of hospitality and attention to basic standards made my stay far from enjoyable. I would not recommend this hotel to others.

Location is good.Breakfast could be better.Room was old and needs to be renewed.there is no elevator in hotel so i had to carry all my luggages, baby stroller and out kid myself.there was no any slipper in the room when we arrived.they gave after we requested.

Ein sehr schönes charmantes Hotel mit sehr freundlichem und hilfsbereiten Mitarbeitern. Das Gebäude aus der Mitte des 19.Jahrhunderts fasziniert mit seiner Architektur, den schönen Decken und der Vielzahl von Kunstwerken an allen Wänden. Parkplätze waren grosszügig verfügbar. Auf meine Frage wurde mir ein kleines Restaurant in der Nähe empfohlen und auch telefonisch ein Tisch reserviert. Das Frühstück war gut und der riesige Park war perfekt für einen Spaziergang mit unserem Hund. Ich würde sofort wieder dort einkehren.
