Everything as expected. Was in town for a whale watching trip at Moss Landing and a short convenient walk to where I needed to go.

We stayed at the Sanctuary for a couple of nights. Wonderful property and wonderful room. The fireplace made it nice and cozy. Will definitely return.

Room was cute and cozy, with a great view!

This property was definitely unique. However, the bed was extremely uncomfortable (way too firm) and very high off the ground since we slept on a mattress on an actual boat. There were stepstools to get onto the bed on either side. And the bedside tables were normal size so you had to reach down almost 2 feet to put your belongings on the tables. Also, the water pressure was poor and the water heater must be for the entire unit because there was hardly tepid water when I went to shower in the evening. It’s a beautiful property and I love the wildlife and the surrounding area but otherwise I wouldn’t stay there again. Also, you should know that it says that there’s a refrigerator in a microwave in the listing however it is in a common area and you have to put your name on your food in the refrigerator, so that was inconvenient. If you wanted a late night snack, you had to go out of your room, walk across a small parking lot, unlock the main building doors and go into a common area to use these amenities.

Perfect in everyway . We loved our stay. Waking up to the viewfrom our bed was the beat part.

They never let me through the front door. After spending 30 minutes at the front door talking to someone on their "red phone" i finally gave up. They have nobody on site to assist so if there are any issues, you are at the mercy of the mystery person on the phone. That peron in my case was incompetent and rude. You have other choices of places to stay, i suggest doing so.

The place was extremely clean and sanitary. Thats honestly my biggest requirement. It was easy check by calling a 24 hour receptionist and they text you your room and code to get in. Lots of cool decor (bed was sitting on a boat trailer, etc) and THE VIEW was amazing. I spotted a lot of birds and even an Otter floating by.

We did not realize we were staying in a house and renting a bedroom. The view of the river was not as described. You could hear everything in the next room as the walls were paper thin. The experience was very eerie and felt uncomfortable.

Lovely room with a view and balcony. Lots of outlets for any charging, clean and comfy. Would reserve again if going to that area.

Gorgeous location. Marine life. Interesting historical buildings. Wonderful management team.

Stopped here while on business trip. I was a bit confused and frustrated by the check in process. However, they were very polite and professional keeping me from overreacting. Great customer service goes a really long way and they score high there. Next time, i will stay for pleasure:-)

Quiet getaway from hustle and bustle. Spent a little more and stayed in a room overlooking the river. Clean comfortable room and good quality nights sleep. Property well taken care of. Happy and will stay there again.
