Great desk staff. Well located for walking. Quiet. Nice common areas. No coffee maker in room.

Staff really friendly

The location is excellent for touring/transportation. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet comprehensive. Bed was firm but comfortable. Air conditioning was iffy. We needed to move rooms as we and staff had difficulty setting up the A/C. We also suggest a rubber mat in the slippery tub/shower.

Nice room and the restaurant is really good

Great hotel located a short walk from all sorts of attractions including: restaurants (brasseries/bouchons), two rivers (the Rhone and Sone). It was surrounded by quaint buildings from the 1700s/1800s. It was not far from a funicular (a hillside train) station that takes you to the well preserved ruins of a Roman theatre at the top of the hill as well as near a beautiful cathedral. It was a very nice mix of modern and vintage. Loved our time there - wish that we could have stayed longer than the two days we visited.

Excellent location. Sadly, that’s about it. Breakfast at €19 p/p was boring. The corridor skirting boards and our door were in desperate need of refurbishing. Our room was cold and no facilities (fridge, kettle or coffee machine) BUT worst of all: the shower drain bad smell. We have never experienced anything like this before, and we do travel a lot. The receptionist came up and poured some product down the drain but it did not eliminate the odor.

Beautiful building in a great central location. The lobby is very welcoming, clean, and friendly. The breakfast spread is very high quality. Staff is very attentive and friendly.

This is a beautiful old hotel in a great upscale area. It is s add n older building so are some oddities you just have to put up with.

Fantastic location, great hotel overall. Booked the smallest room, and it was… very very small. Bathroom was great although no hot water in the morning.

Most of the things were fine. Place was clean. Convenient to alot of things. The only complaint I had and communicated to the staff was that there was no hot water in the shower. I was compensated with a free breakfast.

This isnt a 5 star hotel, but the room was comfortable and clean. Good breakfast. Horrible dinner. They do not have an english language tv chanel, which would have been nice. Staff was fantastic. Always cheerful and helpful.

Beautiful hotel, with elegant charm and wonderful staff. In the heart of an active part of Lyon with lots of shopping, restaurants and walkability. Small but well-appointed room, comfortable bed, nice shower. Very nice breakfast buffet. Staff was friendly, efficient and welcoming.

the staff is wonderful and the location is perfect. the primary reason for the rating is the AC - it was almost not working - had to be moved 3 times and even then had only marginally working AC - they are also redoing the hallways and stairwells - so much construction.
