Close to the beach and town

We had a great experience for our one night stay. The person who checked us in gave us a king size bed as an upgraded since they had the availability. We slept great. Everything was clean. Would stay again.

We loved this place. The room was super cute and clean private patio with a spa. Will definitely go back.

Beautiful place, and we had a cute room. The beds were just too low, and the headboards were weird (had a space where pillows would fall off). Otherwise, it was accessible to the beach and nearby dining.

Loved this little place! Had a great stay!

Second summer in a row coming here, the location is just the best! The rooms are small but comfortable, the bathrooms are nice. The parking situation is safe but very cramped. The pool area is pretty and peaceful with lovely views. The housekeeping was on point, but there was mysteriously never anyone at the front desk.

On the whole, the Malibu Country Inn is fun and cute, if not a bit shabby chic. It could use a few updates, i.e. the ice machine was not working and some features advertised were just for show (the in room fireplace is only decorative). That said, it is close the beach, affordable, and in an amazing location. Plus, Aaron at the front desk is super chill.

The location was amazing. The rooms were run down for the price you pay. It felt like they were going through some changes or ownership changes.

Hotel is in a great location. Very close to Zuma beach. I chose the room with the beautiful ocean view but unfortunately the windows were very dirty and the window tint film was peeling. The window screens were broken. No smoke detector in room. Room and bathroom lights were burned out. Mold in shower.

The location was excellent. Right across the street from Zuma beach. The rooms were clean and the staff was great.

Front desk was kind, pleasant, efficient and helpful. They quickly addressed an issue we had with the TV. Thank you for making our stay a comfortable one.

Everything was as we expected. It’s a very good value. We were greeted by a very friendly fellow at check in.

Inn very clean and surrounded by nature. Room very clean but needs some talc in bathroom. Also no water for coffee. Good choices for coffee in room but again no water. I would come here again.

I liked being able to hear the Ocean from so afar and elevated position. Staff and grounds crew extremely knowledge about their craft. The staff really accommodated me on several occasions and was able to extend my stay at a great rate through communication and VETERAN Discount and quiet skills. This place has fine bones great design and floral and fruit garden. Pollination is purrrfect. Enjoyed my stay and would to visit again anytime. Nice place to sleep…zzz
