Chose this hotel as it was a 10 minute walk from the ferry to their door. In a great area of Bastia, just one block back from the central park that faces the waterfront and where the tourism office is located. An easy walk to the Vieux Port, Citadel, etc. Greeted by Katia (sp?) at the desk when we arrived at 8:30 a.m. expecting to just drop off our luggage but she said our room was ready and we could take it immediately! Great customer service, Katia was both helpful & thoughtful. We took a suite for three days: quite large with a couch, adjustable height table mini fridge & tv in one part. The bedroom had a wardrobe & another tv, bed and bedding were comfortable. The bathroom was roomy, great shower. The hotel is nicely done and our room was very quiet. Note: the hotel is one flight up from street level and there is no elevator. However, stairs are broad, there is a landing and a railing: for us that was fine. We found the suite was perfectly suited to our needs and met all expectations with one exception: would have appreciated hand towels (our fault for not asking) in addition to the bath towels - but the large towels were refreshed daily! Thanks to Katia, we will definitely revisit next time we come to Bastia!

Very clean room and quiet hotel given location on busy street. Perfect location to stay close to restaurants, groceries etc. Only drawback was that reception and rooms were up 2 stair levels and no elevator. A hassle if you have heavy luggage.

The hotel was perfectly situated, close to train and bus stations as well as the downtown area. Staff was very pleasant and helpful ☺️

Decent hotel in heart of Bastia. Short walk to train station and airport bus link as well as ferry port. Friendly reception. Rooms are big enough but not spacious.

I booked a Comfort Double room but Tomasi showed me a low quality room which was not even advertised on the website and then a Standard Double room before showing me the room I booked for. We are not happy with the way we have been treated. They should have showed us a Comfort Double room at check in. This is a dishonest behaviour and we have reported to Hotels.com and they are investigating into this matter. The bathroom they showed me in the first room made me sick and unwell for the entire afternoon and I couldn't eat for the whole day. It was unbearable. They staff used bad language when we demanded refund and didn't let us leave it peace. They used all sorts of excuses to twist the facts and blame us. Money is still owed by the hotel.

Small pretty hotel right off St Nicholas square. Go sit there. So lively. Good cafe. Tourist center there. Hotel is perfect except for no elevator and it is one floor walk up. Breakfast is extra and really worth it. Delivered to room. Held our luggage when we arrived early on ferry. All except late night clerk do speak English.

Basic but clean room right in the heart of town. Convenient to ferry as well.

We took a comfort room which is comparable to travel lodge.Basic but quality bedding and very clean. Also had a fridge. Breakfast served in your room. Central for everything. I deal city break. Staff were very friendly helpful and spoke English.

one night the ferry came into bastia after the last train got there at midnight ideal for making the disfuctional ferry service liveable

This is a small hotel and does its best given its limitations. The location of course is excellent near the port and the center. It's on the first floor with no elevator. The reception was very friendly, spoke good English and offered tips, though we did struggle a bit with the nighttime receptionist due to our lack of knowledge of French. The room was good and spacious- we stayed in a triple room and the bathroom was quite clean. They offered a breakfast in the room but we decided to go outside for breakfast given the location is quite central.

Great location, close to ferry terminal and train station, and helpful staff. In an area full of shops and restaurants and an easy walk to the Bastia attractions. Small but comfortable room.
