The hotel was perfect for my stay. I enjoyed the room; it was a nice size, with a comfy bed, well supplied kitchen, sitting area and stunning views from the large balcony. The location was great and the staff were friendly and helpful. I'd definitely stay again!

Our stay started out a little rocky. The room that we were given wasn't to the standards that me and my wife are accustomed to, when we brought our concerns the management they quickly came up with a solution. They found two more rooms that they allowed us to choose from that better fit what we expect out of a hotel. The cleaning staff was amazing and what ever we asked for was quickly delivered to us. I can not say enough about how great the staff treated us from the front desk to the cleaning staff and evening the maintenance crew that came to help show us how to work the TV. We would definitely stay at the Mayan Princess again.

Clean and comfy rooms. Suite was very spacious!

Basically, everything works at the Mayan. Staff are friendly, rooms are clean with well equipped kitchens, and while it’s not in the least bit luxurious, it’s very nice. Reaching for just a couple of small complaints, there’s a bad odor on the lane outside the only entry/exit, and you have to knock on the window at the entrance if you want the water turned on so that you can rinse the sand from your feet. But, hey, it’s San Pedro! You could pay a lot more and still not beat the convenience, comfort and friendly character of the Mayan Princess.

The staff were very friendly and were helpful and were great to answer any question you needed answered. Rooms were clean and had everything you needed if you went to the market to make a lunch . Very nice balcony to sit on and enjoy the ocean view while haveing a coffee. Very close to walk to many restaurants and shops .

Excelente lugar para salir a conocer, la playa está llena de sargazo y mal olor, pero la cercanía a visitar secret beach es la opción; la habitación está bien equipada!! Y ojo hay que recordarles la limpieza de la habitación sino no la hacen

The Mayan Princess Hotel is one of those rare places that delivers exactly what travelers actually want: comfort, cleanliness, convenience, and genuine hospitality. Its location in the heart of San Pedro is ideal, close to everything yet still relaxed and easy to retreat to after a day out. The property feels safe, secure, and exceptionally well kept. Both the grounds and the rooms were spotless throughout my stay, and the accommodations are particularly well appointed by Belize standards. The full kitchen is a major plus, especially for longer stays, and thoughtful practical touches make a real difference here. The hotel offers 5-gallon water jugs as needed for a small fee, and on-site laundry service is available upon request. Having clothes washed, neatly folded, and returned to your room felt like a small luxury that made the stay even more enjoyable. While there is no pool, it hardly feels like a compromise. The hotel provides lounge chairs right on the beach and out on the dock over the water, which is a lovely place to unwind. Cushions and beach towels are available at the front desk upon request. What truly sets this property apart is the staff: warm, friendly, helpful, and consistently welcoming. For the price, this hotel offers outstanding value, and I would return without hesitation.

Hotel was very clean and the rooms are spacious with a full kitchenette to cook and store food. The balcony overlooked the beach and offered a stunning view of the sunrise. The staff was very pleasant and extremely helpful. They assisted us with booking excursion, taxis and golf cart rentals. We were quite pleased with the overall experience with staying here.

Great staff

The hotel was on the water and centrally located in San Pedro close to several restaurants and bars. From the balcony I could see the pretty and vast ocean. The receptionist in the morning and at night were helpful in providing suggestions where to eat, what to visit, and what to do. Each suggestion was spot on and specially the local authentic Belizian restaurants to try. Highly recommend staying here where there are large rooms, balconies, and AC.

For the price and location…..this was a great place. Within walking distance of everything you need. Rooms were nice and clean, great view. I would stay here again.

An oasis in the middle of a bustling town. Great porch and view. Most impressed by the kitchen! Stocked with everything you could need, organized and impeccably clean!
