Stated for one night with my daughter in a twin room, the hotel is quite dated (our bathroom looked like it had been updated) it was comfortable and I would stay again

Lovely clean room, plenty of towels, coffee, tea making facilities. Staff were all very helpful pleasant and professional. Plenty of choice for breakfast, toast cereal full breakfast. Parking was slightly problematic with paid in 15 minute intervals but there is a car park within easy walking distance of the hotel. All in all a lovely hotel to stay in.

Cleanliness of the room was poor, had to ask for it to be cleaned as they had no other rooms to move us too. The room itself was filled with worn furniture full of scuffs, chipped & marked. Very low standard for the price of the room. Would not recommend or stay here again.

Incredibly friendly welcome. Rooms are a bit run down, but they are updating some bathrooms.

Property is being renovated, but with minimal disruption. Breakfast is to order and nicely priced. Liked the location with good pubs. Great staff.

The location was good but the hotel is old and run down. Rooms dark and carpet appeared dirty. No fan in the bathroom.

I was given a free breakfast because there had been a bit of an issue with the room heater when I stayed last Friday. Then I stayed again on Sunday night and the staff provided me with a breakfast even though I was late and arrived after the cut off time. Full marks to the staff of the Sandy Ford.

Really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The reception area was welcoming and spacious, the receptionist was very helpful and the fact you can check in from 1.30pm is brilliant! The room was a great size and very clean and tidy. The room also had an actual opening window which I always appreciate in a hotel, particularly on a warm day! The bed was comfy, the shower was hot and there was no noise, despite the city location. I was really happy with my stay here and will definitely stay here again in the future if I am in the area.

Staff went out of their way to help, easy to get to and from city centre. Breakfast, especially porridge was great, definitely going here again on next Glasgow visit

It's a budget hotel and that's what you get. But, it is in a great location and staff are always lovely and helpful. Gives me everything I need

Dated but clean and comfy enough. For the price, no complaints. And Super Kay on the nightshift and her wee pal were a delight

I was skeptical of this place being one of the cheapest places to stay, but I was not unimpressed. It’s an old building and they give you a key that you check in and out as you come and go if the day. It’s actually pretty smart. Upon checking in, the guy at the desk was very helpful and friendly and gave a few suggestions of places to walk to nearby and that was very helpful. The room was clean, the staff were friendly, and they cook you a breakfast each morning! They made me a full Scottish breakfast! This is a diamond in the rough and is close to The Kelvingrove museum and University! I give it like a 4.7 out of 5.
