Lovely and quiet. Good sized room. Free parking. Near good restaurants. Fantastic easy checknin and staff very helpful. Even let a gluten free goodie pack

This was our second visit to the lodges and we weren’t disappointed. Room was spotless, good shower and plenty of sockets. The breakfast to go is a bonus and filling. There’s a lovely courtyard which we used to sit out and have supper. If you want a break from the hustle and bustle of a hectic life this is the place to come and unwind. The host was friendly and gave us suggestions of places to visit. Will definitely go back again.

Very quiet location and slightly out of nearest town (Newent). The staff were very helpful and allowed me to use their electricity to charge my EV (I reimbursed them at their rates). Room was basic and clean. Continental breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Real milk in the fridge.

Great communication from the start with details of which route to go and where to park. Comfy bed. Great attention to detail including breakfast bag, tea and coffee making facilities, mini fridge, tissues, toiletries, fan etc. Great stay en-route to Cornwall

If you are looking for somewhere to stay on England - Wales boarder do not pass this exception place.?It is ideally positioned for touring Gloucester / Ross on Wye / Monmouth areas.

Facilities were excellent, room well appointed, spotlessly clean. Everything you could want was already there.

Lovely clean and comfortable room and well thought out. Set around a quiet courtyard and so much nicer than a typical hotel and noisy corridors. ideal place for a short break and exploring the area. Really nice rural setting but easy to find. Good contact and check in instructions. I will definitely return and recommend.

Helpful upon arrival , quite and clean

Very good accommodation and the Maggie was so helpful as was the other lady( didn’t get her name) who came to ensure the outside light was on and to advise which lodge to book to suit my husband’s needs if we stay again.

We booked Newent lodges for one night as we needed to be in the area for an event. I have no particular comments to make either way- the room was tidy, had been made into a twin as requested and the bathroom was clean. That is all we required for this particular trip.

We have stayed here before and it is lovely comfortable accommodation. You receive a breakfast bag each day and the fridge is stocked with milk and water. There are also plenty of teabags, coffee and biscuits provided. You have everything you need for a relaxing stay.

I stay here most years for an event I attend nearby. The rooms are good value, clean and have everything I need. It is low hassle, quiet and I sleep well. Breakfast is very basic Fruit, pastry and cereal bar hung on the door the day before but suits me for an early start.
