Basics in room (bedside light, air conditioning) didn't work. Shower was awful, a mere trickle of water. Omly one flannel provided when there were 2 of us. Bedside table the size of a playing card. Lighting horrible, either off or blazing bright., no dimmers. Restaurant food mediocre and drink prices high. Room layout bsdly designed with not enough space to put stuff and pointless 'office' area which served no useful purpose. Not enough sockets in the room. Iron was cheap and nasty. Breakfast was good despite robotic staff. Bed was comfortable. Communal areas were nice. Lack of attention to the basics means this place is somewhere I would not return

Really good hotel in a very convenient location

Arrived early for lunch. Reception were too distracted with a wedding party to properly receive new guests. I knew the room wouldnt be available till 3.00pm (which is why we sreserved a table for lunch. Sent upstairs to the dining room - only to be sent back downstairs! I had to navigate my own way to where I could be served. Not happy. I wnet to check in which was OK but the reception did nothing to make us welcome with the usual mantra of this is where the dining room is. This is where you will have breakfast etc etc. Poor front of house management.

Food was very poor. Room small and noisy but clean. I wouldn’t stay again unfortunately.

Plenty of parking and good breakfast

The room was ok and staff were ok. The room was cleaned but not to a great standard. Car parking is good as there are loads of spaces. Windows aren’t sound proofed so unfortunately I had to listen to loud noise and music and loud cars outside until half 12 in the morning which isn’t great on an early start. I paid extra for breakfast on the 2 nights I stopped but unfortunately due to the size of the seating area and the hot plates the Q is massive and to small for the guests that are there and no control over the Q as people just kept coming in and pushing in with people they knew and staff wouldn’t stop this so ended up skipping breakfast on both mornings because of this. Means I wouldn’t recommend this hotel and wouldn’t book again and I will be booking elsewhere on my next business trip.

A wonderful hotel, with history and presence. Free parking on site. The room and public areas were clean and welcoming. The gardens are beautiful for a cool G&T or glass of wine. We also had dinner and breakfast both of which were extremely tasty. Definitely recommend and will stay again.

Fantastic hotel.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my stay at Bromley Court Hotel was disappointing from start to finish. We had upgraded to a Deluxe Garden Room, only to be told at check‑in that loud weekend functions would affect our room — and were then offered a move to a quieter suite for an extra £20 per night. Charging guests to avoid an inconvenience you already know about is unacceptable. The noise that night was unbearable, with the noise drowning out the TV and furniture vibrating. After unanswered calls to reception, only the night manager, Alex, resolved the issue and moved us — something that should have happened at check-in. Housekeeping also failed to service our room on one of the days despite the sign being displayed, and reception tried to blame us for having a “Do Not Disturb” sign, which we did not. On top of that, as an Expedia Platinum member, I should have received a complimentary bottle of wine, which was never acknowledged or provided. Overall: poor service at check‑in, no accountability, ignored benefits, and basic standards not met. Only the night manager showed proper customer care.

We booked this hotel to attend a wedding reception at a nearby venue and got an excellent deal on Expedia. Absolutely couldn’t fault the hotel in any way. It is clean and well maintained in all areas and the room (deluxe double) was perfect. There was also plenty of guest parking and the staff were all lovely and friendly. The breakfast was also excellent with a good choice of food and drink, well stocked and the option to sit inside, in the conservatory or in the garden - which is also stunning! If we are in the area again we will definitely book this hotel

My friend and were in London for a wedding, and we stayed at the Bromley Hotel. It was pretty decent. We booked the twin room. which was very spacious. Will definitely stay here again, in the future.

Only a quick stop overnight not food eaten - so can’t review staff polite and friendly.
