When I first arrived to check in, there was no one at the counter. My friend and I, along with a few other guests, waited for about 25 minutes before someone came in. Otherwise, the stay was beautiful, clean, and there were stray cats around!!! Adorable and comfortable

The hotel is not clean. Front desk staff literally cutting someone's toenails at the front desk!!! You can't make this stuff up. Toilet bowls have yellow stains. Beds and pillows are very uncomfortable. Elevator floor is filthy. Trash in the hallways when we came in that night.

We were in town for a family reunion for Christmas. The room was clean and quiet. The breakfast hot and plentiful. We will definitely stay here again on future visits.

Location is good. Staff is friendly. Room felt clean, but the AC/Heating unit produced some funky smells. Overall pretty decent given the limited options in the area. I'll stay here again when work sends me back that way.

It's the best hotel in Hondo. The others are old and in poor condition.

This used to be the best place to stay in town but the hotel has aged and you can definitely tell. It for sure needs updated and some maintenance. I think the staff tries to maintain but if owners don’t spend a little money it will continue to become worn down. Plus my price with Expedia was way more than the receipt I received at check out. Over $200 difference for a 3-1/2 night stay
