The room was clean and spacious, ample parking and lots of green space for your pets for walks.
The staff could use some social skills training, they were not the most friendly when checking in. We booked this stay through Expedia, checking/selecting all the proper boxes/options when travelling with pets, yet the staff at this Best Western was quite rude about not booking directly with the hotel when travelling with pets. And although they "waived" the room cleaning fee of $349.00 to be "nice" on their part (they were so dramatic about it too), but threatened a customer with a huge cleaning bill because the someone within the staff did not read all our comments/needs properly, is not the way to conduct business. The attached restaurant was ok, but they could not accommodate 2 people at 8pm, so we had to order our food "to-go" and eat in our room.
Overall, if your hotel is pet friendly, and the customer chooses to stay with your hotel with pets, then the accommodations should not matter who the customer books the room with. On a cross-country trip, when you are staying at 5 hotels between Montreal and Jasper, and 1 of the 5 gives you a hassle, it is not the booking tool used that made any errors. We will not be staying with the Best Western chain of hotels anymore, especially when the staff at all the other hotels we stayed at had all the information correct for our stay needs.
