The “free”hot breakfast is a non starter. You could have eggs, eggs or eggs, all my 3 days examples were cold and bland in the western versions at least. Mondays eggs were powdered and mealy, like yellow tapioca shall we say? The last time I had eggs like that was in an army barracks. Day 2’s sausages were at least warm but that was due to the staffs inability to gauge food requirements, engendering a wait for the new warm batch. Two other people mentioned the cold and mechanical attitude of the staff as well. Don’t get me wrong here, no one expects glee and mirth in staff at breakfast, but perhaps a slightly more convivial, less deadpan mien would be available? The tooth breakable “potato coins” were uniformly hard and cold. Good thing there was a large ketchup dispenser on the counter, eh? I’ve had breakfasts in quite a few hotels and sad to say, this may have been the nadir. Overall a poor experience and one I believe should be shared,.n’est pas?
