Every time I visit Kuching, I always stay at Hotel 98. The service is friendly and excellent, the hotel is clean, the air conditioning is cool, and the Wi-Fi is excellent. It's also close to the waterfront, about a 10-minute walk away.

Overall, it's okay. The mattress is dirty, meaning it's full of bedbugs. My child and I were itchy while sleeping. The sheets looked white, clean, and odorless. Please pay attention to the cleanliness of the mattress.

The rooms are not soundproof, there are many bars around the hotel that play music until dawn.
