Excellent place to stay. Food was very good and plentiful. The room was spacious and very clean. This was our 6th time staying here and have booked again for August.

The property is at a very calm place and has been running since 1650 which is amazing fact. The room I’ve stayed in was a attic converted into a room. The room and bed was good but felt a old smell which needs made it feel that it needs a room freshner across the rooms and houses. There was good and spacious car park and within 10-15 min drive from lot of English heritage sites. I would like to see a bottled water in rooms along with towels as it felt wrong to grab water from sink. The staff were very supportive especially during the breakfast they were very attentive and supportive. Breakfast had some good veg options but would love to see some vegan options as well which was missing.

Excellent stay. Staff were superb along with the food and drink on offer. Maybe some healthier options would be a suggestion, plus the heating was constantly on full through the building. Money saving opportunity here. Definitely recommend.

Breakfast was excellent

The pub itself was lovely and welcoming, check in was easy, however there were a few things that i personally consider needs addressing The restaurant doesn’t start serving food for guests until 6.30 pm and when you have been on business all day i just wanted to relax with some nice food and a glass of wine, the reception told me the chip shop was open, that is where i went. The room on arrival was very cold as the radiator was not on, blinds in the bathroom did not close and the towel rail was very dirty, the netflix channel was stuck on a foreign language so couldn’t access or add my account, please also consider removing the green light that stays on all night inside the room by the door, it was very difficult to block it out, however breakfast was amazing

Very warm welcome from the staff who were very helpful and friendly. Room was ideal for us and the dog included access to a courtyard. Breakfasts and evening meals were very substantial. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Lovely historic family run pub / hotel. Absolutely brilliant value for money. A real hidden gem. Brilliant accommodation and very helpful staff. Clearly supported by locals, who use it, a good sign. Well done the Crown Hotel. 👏👏

Our suite was spotless and very comfortable. Excellent breakfast menu, we also had a family meal one evening, which was delicious. The staff were mega friendly and obliging, nothing was too much trouble. We have stayed there several times and it’s always a pleasure. The Crown is our go-to place when in Norfolk.

Lovely hotel, room was cosy and comfortable. Everything was clean and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and will be staying here again!

Room was clean and well-stocked, both dinner and breakfast were very nice. Staff were helpful. Beautiful town and very charming hotel with lots of character. Only downside was the TV was small and a bit of a pain to work, however for our trip that didn't impact us.
