Great breakfast, clean rooms, friendly staff, great bistro/bar right on the water!

Wonderful proprietor - so friendly and helpful. The breakfast and restaurant were excellent! We stayed in a room for a family and it was perfect. Highly recommend:)!

The hotel is just in front of the King Cliff and the restaurant is wonderful.

Get a room with a balcony and ocean view! Rooms are quite spacious and bathroom floors are heated.

Out of season hotel does not open restaurant in evening but staff made a special effort to provide dinner for us given that we required a plain meal following sickness. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Room smallish but comfortable.

This small property is located in a charming fishing village. The rooms are comfortable, staff is professional, and a nice breakfast selection is part of the price.

I was at Stora Hotellet in early August, having good expectations but a bit concerned that it could have been crowded and noisy in the peak season. We got a great suite room quite isolated, with beautiful view on the brygga. Perfect stay! Breakfast can be improved as well as overall service and room cleanness. But overall i recommend it

Awesome Village, great hotel, great people, very good restaurants next door, got the James Cook room with terrace overlooking the harbor...could have stayed there for weeks...

Perfect location in the center of town. Right on the water. Free breakfast was a full smorgasbord and was great. Service was very friendly. Since we were there on a very low season, they upgraded us to a room with a balcony :)

Welcomed with a glass of bubbles by the most friendly receptionist. Out season stay where we meet a lazy village with local people and non stressed staff. Nice

The hotel was wonderful. The room was modest and spacious, a bit cold. The room did not have much of a view, but the hotel was located right on the water with a great view. The local mountain was split by a giant crevasse that you could hike up and there were stairs to the top giving an incredible view of the port. The hotel staff was very friendly and looked up several things for us to do. The breakfast buffet was the best of our entire trip. I would come back in a heartbeat.

We spent 1 night in this hotel. The staff was nice and helpful from the very beginning. We were gladly impressed by the rooms, which each one is decorated differently based on different world cities. The room had his own huge bathroom (I believe that there are others with option to share it). Also, we found a bubble gum sticked to our bed heading :( Breakfast was very basic, for the price of this hotel, they should offer more variety: there was only bread, cereals, jam and cheese (but not fruit nor pastries). There was no hot food ready (like scrambled eggs or bacon). We were offered for some eggs and bacon when we were finishing our breakfast, so the service breakfast staff should pay more attention to this. We were deceived with the breakfast (again, considering the price you pay for this hotel).

Stunning view of the harbor and arcapelageo. Only downside was it was winter. So we will have to come back in the summer!
