I booked two rooms for a family vacation, the second room for my son and daughter in law had roaches. It took over 24 hours to talk to the GM and no one on property was empowered to make a decisions, working in the hotel industry this is unacceptable. My room did not have roaches, they did move my son and comped 2 nights for the inconvenience however now they were on the 3rd floor and we were on the first. We like to be next to each other so we can play cards after the kids go to sleep being 2 floors apart we were unable to do that, so it took away part of our fun as a family. In addition I didnt get my "goodnight hugs" from the grands due to 2 floors apart. Other than that it was good but feel compensation should have been offered for my room as we missed major memories for our vacation.
