Nice central place when staying in St Johns, hotel is a fun music theme and had a nice pool, gym and hot tub (indoors).

Une immense piscine intérieure, un gym et un SPA d’une propreté remarquable. Salle à dîner Zimmy’s nourriture réconfortante, service impeccable. Un p’tit déjeuner au Java, savoureux. Un cocktail au Bar Mojo au 8e étage, un bar luxueux, ambiance chic-feutrée paisible, décor WOW, et une vue splendide sur la ville et le port Un séjour confortable dans un hôtel haut de gamme. Very helpful pleasant staff and food very good,plus service was excellent

Strong music vibe and decor. You’ll love it or hate it. Large comfortable if not somewhat dark room. Well equipped and clean. Turn down service consists of a loud knock on the door and a pleasant person handing you a chocolate two buildings connected by a pedestrian. A bit confusing. You must use valet parking at an extra fee. Food in Exile, the fancy restaurant is good but…. We had reservations the first night. We were seated and ignored for the next 20 minutes. Waiters serving tables around us avoided eye contact. We left after 25. Returned for breakfast. Without a reservation we were seated at the bar. The blonde waitress we had was great. Worked her buns off while the 2 guys visited with the hostess. Our main issue was the poor service. Valet parking watched us struggle with our bags and the door but did nothing to help. Each day our room key didn’t work when we came back and I had to run over to the other building to get the key dealt with. Front desk staff were surly and difficult to hear over the loud music. Not 4 star service.

Very friendly staff, including valet and concierge service. The food at the Exile Restaurant was excellent, especially the service. Had a small breakfast at the Java Room in the lobby. The bagel with salmon and cream cheese is a must.

Loved the ambience of the hotel and the musical theme with all the various artists through the decades. Extremely well done!

The bathroon was clean and the products (shampoo, etc) were amazing.

Awesome hotel. Loved Zimmies and the live entertainment. Parking is an issue but we used valet which was great! Great location, close to downtown district.

I like the energy and vibe of the hotel. The staff were excellent.

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in, including stays at good hotels in Canada, the US, Ireland, Scotland and Norway. The rooms are superb. The restaurant and bar are top notch. All of the staff, from door men to front desk to facilities without exception were great to deal with. The bonus was having my car charged in the underground parking. Valet service was well worth the additional cost. The front door is about 2 blocks from the start of the George St bar/pub district and the Water St commercial district.

Didn't like how noisy the second floor was could hear people outside talking

The hotel is brand new and has a great charm but the rooms feel cramped and the food is mediocre at best. Seems like a lot of drug use around the property making it questionable at night.

This is the most unique hotel we’ve ever stayed at! Its design, colours, rock and roll theme and 24/7 music has been very well thought out. Great food in the hotel restaurants and the staff are the most friendliest people by far! Hope to return one day.

Beautiful atmosphere. So much to see in every floor. The theatre was superb! Great acoustics and not a bad seat in the house. We did have a few hiccups with our room however, but did not make a big fuss about. -As a high end hotel, our room (512) had a lot of accumulated dust behind the TV. -The bathroom walls could have been cleaned much better. -A couple of the smaller lightbulbs were burned out which kind of takes away from the overall ambiance and aesthetics of the room. -The pop machine on our floor was completely “sold out” of beverages. Other than those minor things the experience and stay was beautiful.

What an outstanding property, the music the whole vibe of the Jag was a weekend to remember

Would definitely stay here again, if we come back to St John’s. Beautiful hotel and close to everything we want to see
