This is a really nice hotel with character in a great location next to a lake. The staff were very friendly. No restaurant but there was a local one 5 mins walk away. The room was very comfortable and breakfast was adequate. Thanks for a nice stay.

Conveniently located for going to Stockholm. A short drive or walk from hotel to park your car and take 20 min train to central station, heart of city- affordable commute. Lovely setting, peaceful on a lake. Restraunt on the lake, however we did not have time to eat. Pet Friendly and our Labrador had a great time swimming. Original Old house. Some would say it is ‘dated’ with the decor however the house and rooms are clean and staff/ owner outgoing and friendly. Single beds pushed together so not very romantic for a couples. If we are ever in the area again will definitely stay here and not in the city. Suggest to clarify if there is a wedding on before booking - could be very busy.

Fabulous hotel with lots of character located in a picture perfect setting close to Stockholm. Family own and operated, the staff / family showing exceptional care and personal service emphasizing on the quality of your stay. Perhaps not “kid friendly” , nice to see that there is a place to stay for “all us other without children” for sure worth every penny since it gives you the special feeling and peace and quite during our stay. Morning coffee sitting / walking outside viewing the water and marina along with the nice garden is serene and unforgettable. We will return.

The hotel was charming with lovely furnishings and grounds that went down to the river. We sat on a bench in the evening sun and watched a pair of swans with their cygnet less than 3m away. The owner recommended a great restaurant 5 minutes stroll away where we ate on the decking overlooking the river. The hotel breakfast was extensive with a lot of choice.

Fräscha fina rum med en fantastisk miljö, nära till glashyttans värdshus, stor fin frukost buffé, fantastisk service med omtanke, bar med sittplats i mysigt ”vardagsrum”. Rekommenderas varmt

Lugnt och fridfullt, omgivningen är fin. Det var en gnällig säng som lät så fort man rörde sig. Trist att man inte fick information innan man kom att det var ett firande på hotellet. Helt okej frukost.
